Loved, Loved, Loved!!! The staff was such a vibe, full of energy and very friendly! This is a GREAT date night for couples looking to do something out of the ordinary and hands on. The atmosphere was hype but not too much. It was a great time. 10/10!

I had a GREAT time at Wick and Sip in Norfolk! The people are friendly and incredibly helpful. As someone who was a first-timer (though my partner did candle making one other time at a different place), I felt welcomed and right at home. There are lots of wonderful fragrances and all the staff were great. Our candle-making instructor, Shay (? I know how it is pronounced, forgive me if I misspelled it), was fun, funny, and created a great sense of unity by not only explaining the mission of Wick and Sip, but also promoting love and self-love. We introduced ourselves, referred to the people we didn't know as "cousins", and by the end of the 90 minutes session, the was a lot of warmth and positivity within the space...and LOTS OF GREAT CANDLES that were made! You get to make a nice, pretty big candle (with two wicks to burn) that can contain one or two fragrances, and the process was explained VERY WELL and was easy to follow. I'd say a candle from a name like Better Homes and Gardens would be 20+ dollars, as a point of reference. You also get two tickets to have two alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages (or you can do one alcoholic, one non-alcoholic). The "Cobbler Mountain Cider" drinks were pretty good, but there's also things like Sangria and wine. I don't have a ton of alcoholic beverages (a social drinker who doesn't drink alcohol much), so I may not be "the authority" on what's good, but I enjoyed the peach cobbler drink that I had. Because I was designated driver, I didn't try another alcoholic beverage, even though I probably could have. Just had a small canned Sprite. The cost was 45 dollars + tax for each person, and for the candles, drinks, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the EXPERIENCE you get from such people, makes it WELL WORTH IT! I strongly recommend Wick and Sip!

I can’t say enough about the incredible experience I had at the candle making class’ From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that instantly felt like home. The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly fun, bringing an infectious energy that made the entire session enjoyable. The vibe was absolutely amazing – a perfect blend of creativity and camaraderie. The class was well-structured, allowing us to explore various techniques for crafting our own unique candles while also encouraging our individual creativity. I left the class with beautiful candles that I made myself. I wholeheartedly recommend this class! It’s a 10/10 experience that you won’t want to miss!
