They seem to leave the light red after 11:30 every freaking time. They dont care if the lines out to the highway, they'll just pull everyone in after their lunch. Very unsafe! Considering Colorado drivers got their drivers licenses as a two for one deal at Walmart.

Pulled into weigh station for level III inspection. The officers were very courteous & professional. All my paperwork & logs were all on the up and up. Aside from a very minor clerical error I made on 1 days log they said "Steller Logs Mr. Reed".

When is the weigh station ever good?? Put it this way; The states are struggling to generate money due to the Corona Virus. Pulling truck drivers in and writing us up for EVERYTHING seems like the new plan to stimulate the economy here in CO.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! Performed an inspection and I was quickly returned to the road with passing inspection report in hand! Thank you!

Watch out for the Fort Collins Weigh Stations!! If they pull you in for an Inspection, the officers look for ANYTHING they can to give you a Violation. They are Violation Hungry! I've been through so many inspections this year alone and they go after the smallest things that happen while on your trip that you wouldn't know about unless you stop every 10 miles and do a pretrip over and over. And it doesn't matter to them if the incident happened during your journey and you've logged in that everything was fine during your initial pretrip; they will still tell you that you should be more observant and mindful when you do your initial pretrip so you dont get a Violation when pulled in. Nevermind that Colorado has EXTREMELY horrible, bumpy, you'll fall through each pot hole that is crater size, lanes that are now uneven thanks to unfinished road construction, and just poorly maintained roads that do so much damage to vehicles beyond a driver's control that none of that is possibly the CAUSE of a sudden violation incident. NOPE, it's the driver who isn't vigilant in magically knowing when something goes wrong, despite the fact no alarms in the truck go off. I guess these DOT officers believe the truck and trailer are a part of the driver's body and we should instantly FEEL the pain when something isn't right about our equipment. Just be aware of these weigh stations, and if possible, pull over somewhere and do a whole thorough pretrip again... cause if the slightest little thing catches their "I'm looking for violations" attention, you'll be regretting you didn't know about it.
