I stopped in on 11/13/25 to sell gold I had recently inherited. I fully expected a reasonable offer a bit below spot (roughly 80-90%), and would have happily sold at that price. As an uneducated buyer, I decided to inform myself on the spot, and without actually doing the math, it appeared super low. I asked what the % was relative to spot, and they said around 75%. Once I learned this, I figured I could receive a higher % online and left the store. Once I got home, I did the actual conversion for the karats and the weight of each item. While they verbally advertised ~75% of gold spot, my math worked out to 55-65% of spot depending on karat. I think this was a bit unfair, and don't feel like I can trust anything I was told while each piece was inspected. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit (11.14.25): Okay, the plot thickens. I purchased a mg scale on my own to independently verify the weights advertised upon my attempt at selling. EVERY weight listed was BELOW the true weight. For example, they weighed a 10k gold football pendant and told me it's 5.5g ($300.57), when the true weight is 5.81g ($317.51). That's nearly 6% off - lol. Yeah, I felt a little bad after my initial review, because I rarely leave any review ever, but this is insane. I genuinely believe they prey on old people and the uneducated. There are significantly more efficient means to sell metals, seek an alternative.

Amazing experience with US Coins and Jewelry. Easy / friendly service while selling some bullion on a Saturday. I appreciated the transparency of the process and felt the offered pricing was very fair and aligned to my own estimates and expectations. Would definitely sell here again.
