As someone who tunes my own piano and has some experience in voicing pianos I had many questions concerning the Yamaha c5x to which his answers were quite insightful. I also appreciated his patience. I played perhaps five pianos over the course of one and a half hours and then told him I was comparing the Yamaha to two other pianos in two different stores and that after playing those pianos all over again I would return to the music exchange to make my final decision. To all of this he completely agreed.

I second all the 5 star reviews. Matt basically resurrected an old fiddle I bought (after a very forthright discussion of the pros and cons of putting in the work) and it sounds great. He also did a perfect top crack repair on my other violin - which another shop told me was essentially un-repairable - and made some adjustments so it is more playable than ever.

I got a Casio digital piano here, and it was the best deal in town! The staff didn’t pressure me into buying something out of my budget and even taught me some basic setup tips. I’ll definitely be back for accessories.

We love this place so much! I was a little skeptical about music lessons for a toddler, but I also knew I wanted my daughter to love music as much as I do. We tried the free class at Musicology and I knew right away that we were both going to love it. Miss Peggy was our teacher for the trial class and we ended up in Miss Mary Jane's class. Both teachers are amazing!

In today’s world of online shopping, it’s great to have a local store like this one that offers a fantastic selection of piano music and educational materials. Every time I’ve called to ask about a specific item, the customer service has been excellent—friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The store is tucked away in the corner of a small plaza, so it’s easy to miss, but definitely worth finding. Support your local music store—you won’t be disappointed!
