I feel blessed to have found a home and community at the Actory. CJ and Carlos are amazing teachers and know exactly how to coach an actor on how to book the job... from commercials to film and TV. When I started taking classes I had no film or TV credits on my resume. In the past few years that I have been training and self taping there, I have booked many commercials, several films and a great TV Series. Obviously, their techniques work. Whether you are just curious about acting or you want to make a career out of it, The Actory is definitely the place to go.

The Actory is a modest but mighty acting school. The instructor, CJ, is highly experienced and knowledgeable in this field. Not only in the craft of acting but in character development, script analysis, camera work, using your voice and body effectively, and what's necessary for building your professional profile (headshots, reels, resume, etc). The school is amazing for all, from beginners to professionals, and the teaching is hands-on from your first day. Attending has been the best decision I have made in growing my skills. The Actory has a wonderful community. CJ fosters an atmosphere that's inclusive, supportive, and encouraging. If you are interested in pursuing or furthering a career in acting, I highly recommend The Actory.

CJ is an incredible acting coach. He works with every actor on an individual basis to bring out their strengths and improve their acting regardless of whether they are new to the craft or have been doing it professionally for years. In addition to improving your skills as an actor, he has a wealth of experience on the business side coming from the casting world; he focuses on making your journey a priority, helping improve your materials, better aligning you with agents, and coming up with a real world strategy so that you get more castings and book more jobs! I cannot recommend The Actory enough.

The first time I went to The Actory I must admit I was nervous because I knew GREAT actors went there, and sometimes you think you have to get to a certain level to be part of a community. I finally decided to go, I was so far for the truth, CJ (our acting coach) and everybody welcomed me like they knew me (and liked me) making me feel safe to learn and perform. That is what The Actory is for me and for everybody who gets to experience what it means to be part of this family, it's a safe space to grow as an artist, it's a healthy space to grow as a person. I'm so grateful to have found The Actory as soon as I moved to Florida! CJ creates an environment that is supportive, fun, and challenging.
