My family did the ”Pilot’s choice” tour (we had previously done the glacier tour). Wow! What an unbelievable experience. We had a crystal clear day and were able to fly over mountain peaks, along ice rivers and over spectacular ridge lines. Very dramatic and thrilling. Our pilot did an excellent job and set us down on the glacier for a super close and one of a kind visit. Well worth the $$!

Wow, this was an amazing experience. The pilots choice is absolutely the way to go. It’s the least likely to be canceled because of weather and the most likely to have the most amazing views. I think this might be the only way you get to see the Juno ice fields way up high and where they actually feed the glaciers. There’s a short safety video that goes pretty quickly. And they’ve supply glacier shoes so you don’t need really good boots or anything. In fact, you probably just want to wear comfortable tennis shoes. Bring an empty water bottle to possibly get water right off the glacier and drink it! Also make sure you’ve got layers of warm clothing because it’s pretty chilly up on the glacier.

We went on a helicopter ride and dog sledding experience with Temsco Helicopters tours up to Mendenhall Glaciers. It was very pricey, but worth every dollar to see the beauty of dog sledding and helicopter riding. If you’re willing to spend a pretty penny you can get a great thrill for what you pay! The dogs were so incredible and the weather was amazing, which was fortunate. The team at Temsco was very friendly and helped us along every step!

This was an amazing and smooth experience to see the Mendenhall Glacier. They keep training systematic, clear, and safe for you to ride the helicopter and step off onto the glacier. As you go to the glacier you get a little tour of the peaks and the humongous glacier that seems like it trails on forever. Prepare to be cold. You aren't there to hike around due to safety concerns (cracks, holes, etc.) but the tour guides lead you around the little area, take your photos, and let u drink glacier water. It was neat to find that the staff on the glacier stay up on the glacier and sleep there in one little tent. Be on the look out for mountain goats

WOW, WOW, WOW. What an awesome experience. I am no stranger to flying in helicopters so I was kind of expecting the same thing, rickety old helicopters with gaps between the doors and the fillings in your teeth rattling out. The Helicopter that we flew in smelled like a new car, it looked brand new and you didn't feel like you were in a blender. The pilot was so cool and informative my lady who does not like flying so much enjoyed every second. The staff on the Glacier were fun, and informative and wanted us to get as many photo shots as possible for us which is a must. Is it expensive, yes it is, is worth it ABSOLUTELY yes? The whole Temsco Team was fantastic. Thank you for making a memory we will never forget.
