Actually had good experience with spirit airline from Newark to CLT NC this week , the plane clean and perfect if you don’t want to spend more money or short of cash , the plane on time so far happy with them , check online works perfect , keep amazing job spirit :)

This is the worst airline in the world. We have a scheduled flight at 5:45 am, and nobody is in the counter helping us. The self check in machines doesn’t work. This is terrible.

This wasn’t just bad service — this was humiliation. I was removed from Spirit Airlines flight NK2123 from Charlotte to Fort Lauderdale without warning, proof, or explanation. I have a kidney condition and asked for water twice while we were stuck on the tarmac for over 2.5 hours. I was denied both water and access to the restroom. When the crew came to collect trash, I tried to hand over my used cup and napkin. The flight attendant pulled her hands away, and the napkin fell onto my neighbor’s tray. Shortly after, I was accused of throwing trash and kicked off the plane. I believe this happened because I speak Russian — I was treated differently from the moment I opened my mouth. After I was removed, I was not rebooked, not offered a hotel, and was told that if I kept asking questions, I could be banned from Spirit permanently. What made it worse was how everyone passed the responsibility. Airport staff told me to call customer service. Customer service said to talk to airport staff. No one wanted to help. Even airport police said they couldn’t do anything, because it’s a Spirit Airlines issue — but how do you solve anything with a company that only listens to its own employees and doesn’t care what passengers go through? This was more than just poor customer service. It was gaslighting, discrimination, and a complete disregard for a passenger with a medical emergency. Shame on you, Spirit Airlines. You made me feel helpless, sick, and like I didn’t matter.

Truly people it is a no frills airline. You definitely get what you pay for. No More No Less. Quick flight Charlotte to chicago. Non-stop. Half the price of other airline alternatives. Fifteen people on the outbound flight. Staff let everyone move around and spread out. Pleasant. Return flight 40-50 people. Staff declined to allow passengers to spread out. Seats do not recline. Space is at an absolute premium. 2 hour or less flight .. SURE why not Save some money. Anything farther… HELL no not worth the cramps

I booked a roundtrip from CLT-MCO. My flight back was scheduled for 5/25. I went to the airport, but the flight was delayed twice. While I waited, I had a medical emergency that required me to be transported to the emergency room. When I was on the EMT stretcher, a Spirit crew member scanned my boarding pass. The next day, while I try to book my new return flight, my hospitalization documentation was not accepted. Granted, I was seen by EMT at the time of (late) boarding, and I was taken to the hospital! So, without a choice, I had to buy another flight so I could make it back home. After hours of wasted conversations on the Chat with Us, Spirit still refused to refund me for the new expense I had to make because of a medical emergency. Just a very sad situation. Would not recommend flying Spirit to anyone!
