Read it, today 07-27-23 at 4:05 pm. I had a frustrating experience with the old meter person on Stanyan St next to Green Pawz. He misunderstood my actions when I pulled out my phone to use the pay by phone service, thinking I was recording him. Despite explaining that I was trying to pay for the meter through my phone, he kept insisting that I should fee the meter and issued the ticket in less than 2 minutes. It was disappointing to see that he seemed unaware of the various payment options available, including coins, phone, and credit card. To make matters worse, he falsely claimed on the citation that the VIN # from my car was covered, likely rushing to issue the ticket. I plan to file a complaint about this situation.

Visited today for the second-level protest of my parking citation. The process exceeded my expectation in both time and behavior. I came about 10am. Spend 1 minute in line to administrative window. 3 minutes later was called to register for my hearing and pay the parking fine (mandatory prior to hearing). 20 minutes later was called to a hearing room. 10 minutes reviewing my case, it was eventually dismissed. All 3 employees I interacted with were professional and polite. The hearing officer was rational and understanding. The officer even mentioned how uncomfortable she was that I had to wait 20 minutes for the hearing as a few people showed up at the same time. I was not happy with an incorrect ticket I got, but now I can say this office is doing their best. I'm glad I went for an in person hearing

On this day 11/18/18 sunday at 6pm i was parked off of embarcadero in a designated parking spot while waiting to get a lyft hit. After about 30min i got a hit at the light so i moved up and put my hazardz on while picking up the passenger this whole time the parking meter guy was parked behind me and as soon i moved and went oved to pick my customer he took a picture of my car as soon as the person i was picking up got in. This whole time i was pulled over with hazarded on with my tire barely touching the bike lane . What this parking meter guy did is a total scam and should be reported for fraud. Especially for a person working as a taxi while picking up customers in a designated pick up area if you look at photo you will see in right after the side walk by the red light !

Bring you computer-phobic holdout friend here and make them buy a fast pass -- bye bye phobia. This is a good place to pop in and contest a citation. They have somehow re-purposed a mailbox and painted it white. Put your request-for-review in the mailbox, look at the sad faces sitting in purgatory waiting for their number to be called and step outside ASAP.

Not sure why so much hate for them. I walked in, got my number, paid the fine, got parking permit all within 25 mins. The person was nice. Taking 1 star away because they could have opened couple more windows to reduce the 15 mins wait time.
