My cousin and I went to trap karaoke. We had a good time. Next time less talking, more music and randomly pass the mic in the crowd for karaoke. Always us never them ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿฝ

The seats aren't the new, top of the line super passed reclining seats with tables, but they have a nice drink holder and the old school seats are still comfortable. The theater is inside the mall on the 3rd floor and everything else closes at 7 or earlier in there so it was very quiet. I was solo, and am female, so I was a bit worried about what it would be like leaving the theater and walking back through the mall to the attached parking garage, but there were a couple security guards wandering around so I wasn't too spooked. Other than being located in such an empty building, my experience was that of any typical movie theater. Staff were all polite and friendly.

I hadn't been to the Regal Cinema at MacArthur Center in some time but I was shocked at how empty it was. The mall itself is pretty much empty with most of the chain stores having departed so it must be difficult to attract audiences for films. There are several individual theaters at this location but I was surprised to see only two other customers the whole time I was there and I was the only person in the theater for my showing. I was also surprised to have to pay $3 for parking even though my parking ticket had been validated in the theater. It made me wonder how much the parking would have cost had I not validated the parking ticket. I cannot see how they will remain in business for much longer as they must surely be operating at a huge loss. I do not recommend going to the Regal Cinema at this location with the cost of tickets, concessions and parking added, It's certainly not worth it especially since there's no other reason to visit MacArthur Center except the movie.

Stepping into this theater felt like a charming trip back in time, though perhaps a bit too far back. The vintage decor, while nostalgic, showed significant wear and tear. The seats, though spacious, could definitely use some updating as they weren't the most comfortable for a longer film. While the screen was a decent size, the picture quality seemed a tad dim, and the sound system occasionally crackled, pulling me out of the movie. The prices were reasonable, which is a definite plus, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the overall experience was somewhat diminished by the outdated facilities. It's a shame because with some renovations, this could be a truly great local cinema again. For now, it's a budget-friendly option with a nostalgic vibe, but be prepared for a less-than-state-of-the-art viewing experience.

Absolutely beautiful building with lots of parking. So clean and well kept. Lots of empty storefronts.
