Customer service is awful. They said they had my updated tractor info but sold me the wrong belt. When I came to return the belt with the receipt they treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I had my daughter with me and they wanted me to wait all day in some ladies office just to do a return then she said she doesn’t know how to do it. It was really strange, I ended up leaving with the wrong belt frustrated. Will definitely be taking my tractor elsewhere.

Recently bought a John Deere riding lawnmower from Quality Equipment in Chesapeake. Counter staff were welcoming and immediately referred me to Curtis in sales. Curtis spoke highly of their Service Dept. and answered all my questions. He provided professional guidance throughout the purchase and set up process.

I brought my mower in for a deck swap and a service. The service department is amazing. They were able to get me in and out the same day. Their technician Stephen is awesome. He was efficient and thorough. He even helped load my machine onto my trailer for me. The team at quality equipment definitely puts quality in quality equipment. I definitely will be a return customer for all my John Deere and Stihl needs. Thanks a bunch and keep up the amazing work!

Initially thr service on my Zero Turn was great but the problems started when they drop off the wrong machine. They had not noticed that they gave me the wrong machine. During my service a had a new belt installed bcoz the last broke. About 2 weeks later while cutting my grass the belt complete broke again. I sent it back to receive the belt and asked them was there a problem with my machine since we just serviced the machine and the belt broke. The service department informed the machine was ok but rhe Manufacturer does not want to support the warranty on the belt and i would have to buy a new belt. So with that drama done I thought it was over. When Finally got my machine back, the wife called and said " hey they dropped office the machine and it is damaged. Later after work awe loom at the machine and Quality Equipment had damaged the fuel tank shroud. Called talk the service department that confirmed no damage was recorded while the machine was in thier possession. But Quaility Equipment does not want to take ownership of the damage and fi,ed the repair. As the Service Manager Jennifer said theybdont know how the damage happen, eluding to I damaged my own equipment. But thank God for my ADT cameras. Unfortunately I have to do my service with them but I know to take pics of machine before and after. Don't let them drop off the machine when you not their to inspect. Now I know they are not business I can trust with my Equipment in thier possession.That my equipment just might come back damaged and they will not honor warranty on thier spare parts you buy from them. They make me regret buying a John Deere and having to deal with them! I rather take my machine to James River instead of Quality Equipment.

This dealer must be exceptional! I left several messages (6) with on-site personnel and on VM to call me back.. Also stopped in twice.. All in a attempt to buy a x350 lawn tractor--> The sales rep to was too busy to talk or return any of my calls. Maybe it was not a big enough ticket item to spend the time it would have taken to buy it and setup delivery 🤷‍♂️ Always wanted a Deere 😆 I had to settle and buy a different brand with another shop that was happy to help. Will try again next time I'm in the market for a mower. Highly recommend this place 💣
