It looks modern. Small airport but well made and very clean. It does not even take more than 5 mins to come out of the airport. Baggage claim was quick and car rental processing was within minutes. I would prefer to fly here instead of Salt lake city. It has great views from the airport as well.

Brand new airport, about the size of a large restaurant. Parking is crazy easy, TSA is super easy, only about 4 or 5 gates exist. When a plane lands it immediately deplanes unlike an experience you’d have at ORD. Also if a Lyft or uber needs to pick you up, it’s right out front. Unlike the hike or bus you would have to take at LAX. And if a friend picks you up or drops you off, it doesn’t feel like you’re getting arrested like it does at LAX. Now I just need more reasons to visit Provo but I definitely don’t have anymore reasons.

In August 2025, we visited the Provo Airport in Provo, Utah. We came to this airport in 1994, and back then, the Provo Airport was only a regional airport that did not handle any large commercial flights. Now, there is a terminal, large parking lot, UTA bus service, and commercial flights offered through Allegient Airlines, Breeze, and perhaps other airlines. The Allegiant flight from Portland allowed passengers to de-plane from the front and the back of the plane, which was great for the passengers on both ends. The descent flight into Provo was amazing to view from the Allegient Airbus 320 airplane, as we recognized many of the Utah buildings, highways, and natural scenery. Provo Airport currently has 4 gates and they plan to have 10 gates in the near future. The terminal building is clean and well-maintained, and the artwork and architecture are colorful and cleverly designed. Provo Airport will greatly benefit passengers who live South of Salt Lake County and want a closer airport with less traffic and congestion to drive to. We had a great and memorable experience at the Provo Airport and we highly recommend visiting here.

🛫 ✨ Impeccable airport experience! Provo Airport (1331 Sky Way, Provo, UT 84601) is an absolute gem. Everything feels brand new, modern, and incredibly clean—from the sleek interior design to the spacious outdoor drop-off area. The architecture and layout are not only beautiful but very functional and inviting. I especially appreciated the calm atmosphere and the efficiency of the entire check-in process. Allegiant offers nonstop flights to Chicago Midway, which makes it incredibly convenient for travelers heading to the Midwest. The Allegiant counters were well-marked, organized, and the signage made navigation super easy. Security was smooth, and there’s even a TSA PreCheck lane available. The inside feels open and well-lit, with big windows offering views of the mountains—honestly, a peaceful place to begin or end your trip. Highly recommend flying through PVU if you’re looking for a stress-free and comfortable alternative to larger airports. I absolutely loved it and will be flying out of here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

This airport is always easy to travel to and from. Its small at least for now because they are expanding. They offer very affordable rates on lots of flights however they only fly on certain days to certain places. Its very small on the inside so you’ll do very minimal walking. TSA Is always empty at least the times I’ve flown there. Only downside is they don’t have any food court of spots other than a tiny cafe and small convenience store so don’t come hungry

Drove Down from SLC as the last minute flight on Delta was over 2x price on Allegiant. First time flying out of Provo and was impressed with how modern and clean the airport is, a very nice remodel! More impressive was the TSA team, super friendly, efficient and you got actual smiles. The Pre-✅ line was 1 person deep while the other line was about 20 people deep, but I saw those in that line at my gate within 7 minutes. Large family room with massive TV, a few eating options and comfortable seats while waiting. A very nice vibe in the airport that took the stress out of traveling. A long drive from SLC, but when a viable option it is definitely worth it. The overnight parking as well was very affordable, $12/day.
