The Life Coaching Institute of America's Mentor Coaching program is phenomenal! Gina Barritt shared a wealth of knowledge and completely embodied how a great coach can bring out the best in people. The group coaching was set up so that every session consisted of both people I had met in other sessions and people whose paths I hadn't crossed yet. This mix made seeing multiple styles of coaching easy and educational. My one-on-one sessions with Gina were delightful. Gina helped me build coaching skills and confidence in a way that allowed me to move forward with my practice in tangible ways. It was like talking to a good friend who helped me find my spark. I was seeking a mentor coach program to complete the requirements for ACC. When I connected with Gina at LCIA, I had a long list of questions. She answered all my questions. I loved the flexibility of the program because I travel a lot. It is important to note that not all programs offer this level of flexibility, and we all know life gets in the way of our best intentions. When I started, I was so happy, Gina covered competencies, ethics, we practiced coaching and gave each other constructive feedback. She is an exceptionally gifted professional coach and supportive. The one-on-one sessions were amazing. She listened to my recording against the ICF ACC competencies and gave detailed feedback. And she reminded us of all during my last group coaching session that we can always reach out if we have questions. I cannot say enough good things about LCIA & Gina. And as a nurse, I know what it is to focus on competencies and ethics.

If you need to acquire or renew your ICF certification I would highly recommend working with Life Coaching Institute of America. Gina was an amazing mentor/group facilitator who provided a trusting and safe space to coach and receive positive insightful feedback. Their mentorship program truly elevates you as a coach while focusing on the ICF Core Competencies. It was an awesome experience and I will definitely go back to LCIA for renewals.

I researched coach certification programs for approximately 2 years. I am a current member of Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. So imagine my surprise to find that Life Coaching Institute of America is the only agency that has an accreditation with the ICF - International Coach Federation and has Motivational Interviewing as its foundation of being with a client. When adding Motivational Interviewing into a coaching practice, you are assisting your clients with making sustainable change. Leslie and Gina were amazing facilitators and coaches during the 3-day sessions. I attended their 101, 201, and 301 sessions and each session was filled with amazing individuals. They provided a space for learning, practicing, and obtaining the knowledge needed to begin a successful practice. Having this opportunity with them has been a true BLESSING!

Life Coaching Institute (LCIA) with Gina Barritt and Leslie Schultz has been an amazing experience. I walked away from the classes with a true understanding on how to improve my coaching practice; I am more knowledgeable and skilled in Motivational Interviewing; and, I feel confident in how I can help others.
