A nice airport that’s easy to navigate without feeling overwhelming. It offers some great restaurants and even a really nice military lounge, which is a big plus. The only drawback is the TSA agents, who aren't always the friendliest or most helpful. A little customer service training would go a long way toward improving the experience

I get lost easily. The Departures ramp goes down and back around in case you miss your stopping spot. Just keep going in a loop. There was a streetlight that was blinking (bad LED?) that gave me a great landmark so I could tell where I was, lol. My actual mission was to find the cargo area to drop off a large dog for transport. This is not at the same place people are dropped off. It was not easy to locate my destination in the dark and fog. They could use better signage on the buildings. Lights would have helped too! It just looks like a bunch of semi-truck warehouse loading docks. Anyway, the largest sign says Southeast. That is where you take your kennel for at least 3 different airlines. The other signs are so hard to see, I drove by the area 3 times not knowing that was the correct place! Awesome airport. Completely remodeled and new airport at Jacksonville. This airport has two terminals A and C. Gates are nicely designed and look new. Overall design of the airport feels bright and sunny like Jacksonville weather.

When you see those flashing lights pull over to side or safe 1000 feet location only where people can see you and have Real Driver license only for real cops not imposter file a report to station and Car Registration and Car Insurance Ready turn car off roll down window music off hand where they can see always and no weapon on you or car or be shot dead possibly 🫵🏽 and wait for tickets you been warned if this help community I can take payment setup trust only through court or lawyer for later time always do right for your community. Great little airport. Only 10 minutes to go through security. That rocks. Got here 1 hour before my flight and had a ton of time. Surprised by the number of restaurants and retail. Just on C concourse you can pick from Firehouse Subs, PGA Tour Grill, Starbucks, Vino Volo, and Chili's. Not to mention three other locations selling food and other goodies.

JAX airport personnel are incredible! Checking in my luggage was a breeze by the United staff. I was able to bypass the lines and have them assessed before even entering the airport. I was given guidance on what to expect which made the start of my travels so comforting! TSA was efficient and friendly, even amidst a shutdown. When walking towards my gate, an associate offered me assistance without being prompted first. She observed that I was searching, and she accommodated me well by pointing out the restrooms. Once I reached my gate, I saw that my flight was delayed which would impact my connecting flight. I got so nervous! I asked for help from the ladies working the United Gate for my plane, and they had to rush to a different gate before they could help me. At first, I felt offended, but once they returned, the agent who assisted was all in and ready to assist! I mistook her approach and realized that she is extremely task oriented which was necessary for securing me a new flight that would allow me to reach my connecting flight in time. The wait time for food at Burger-Fi was not ideal, nor was the seating. I wanted coffee, but the one closest to my gate was not able to serve hot drinks which was a bummer, so I settled for Starbucks which was overpriced, but I needed it!
