I had a $75 ticket that I fully deserved, but it turned into a complete nightmare trying to pay it. I was only in town briefly and had 20 days to settle the ticket, but the online payment portal was down for an extended period, and even after the date they promised it would be fixed, it still wasn’t working. I tried calling to resolve it, but the phone system just looped a message with broken menu options, and eventually just hung up. When I came back to town to pay in person, I found out they only accepted cash or checks. There was no ATM nearby, and the line was huge, with only a few clerks working. Sure, it’s my responsibility, but the whole process was a nightmare. This keeps the key points intact but tightens the flow a little! Let me know if you want me to change anything.

Considering that I was there for court it was not a bad experience. Security was very efficient and the system used to get us all taken care of was explained well and followed. Bernadette Felix was my probation officer and she was amazing!

If I could give less than one star, I would. I chose to schedule a hearing because the ticket I received was ridiculous. I was cited for expired tags even though my registration had already been renewed. My mailman and the clerk’s office had lost it, and I was never informed if it had been returned to them. The entire process was confusing and felt intentionally unclear. One of the court documents said a Zoom link would be sent for the hearing, but I never received one. I emailed the day before and only got a response 30 minutes before the scheduled time—telling me it was actually in person. I had cleared my schedule and planned for a Zoom call, only to be told I’d have to start the process over, submit more forms, pay more fees, and wait for another date I don’t have time for. The whole thing feels like a trap—confusing on purpose to make people miss deadlines and pay more. Completely disorganized and clearly designed to generate revenue, not deliver fairness.

security was helpful as was clerk to file a continuance..the two times I met different lady clerks, were nice and efficient. credit card system down as was just installed, but that is natural.

Awful communication over both email and phone. I’ve been trying to get in touch with a clerk for days and I’ve been hung up on by their answering machine numerous times and haven’t gotten a response to emails that are just requesting more simple information. Would give 0 stars if I could.
