Great service. Picked us out of a crowd to tell us how good of a deal they had for us. for about $200 we got a rental car, a nice 2024 Subaru crossover type vehicle. The biggest worry they helped us work through was we had our toddler son in a stroller, and coming from a cruise ship for several hours to visit Juneau we didn't want to use the public / mass transit transportation. This was a very reasonable price, they included the car seat for our son (one less thing to carry our or worry about). They gave us a coveted self produced map with all the popular spots to check to in Juneau, hand writing in extra points of interest not on the general maps. They gave us tips on a better order of scenic stops to help us beat the crowds. We had from friends we met on the ship and they had family in Juneau and due to the advice from Explore Juneau, we kept running into these friends and all the popular and lesser known sites. Getting to park and drive at our leisure and time schedule and let our son get his naps made for a perfect experience. All the staff with this company was very professional and personal. From the friendly man who did all he could to honestly convince us that the rental car for the day was the way to go, to the man who brought us over from the dock shuttle area to the rental location, to the ladies who helped us process the paperwork. They also had two friendly dogs that my son enjoyed petting while we were getting things set up. The return process was also straight forward and we had no hiccups on the back end.

Super nice and super helpful. We had only a few hours in Juneau and a very packed itinerary. We rented one of their vans - for 12, and were able to have the best time! The customer service was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some advice that got us to a view of the glacier better than any tour could have offered and from a place where we were the only - YES, the only! - viewers. The rental booth is just off the dock, lined up with a bunch of other booths. Just look for Explore Juneau! Thank you guys!

RENT A CAR AND EXPLORE JUNEAU! These folks were so patient and helpful every step of the way. We picked up the car and a map just a few steps over from the dock and talked through what might be the best plan of action for our time on land. It is so worth it to have the freedom a vehicle gives you when making the most of your time here. We are so appreciative of their insight and excellent service.

We weren't sure how to spend our day in Juneau, but finding this car rental place solved our dilemma. The rental process was incredibly simple, and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Even the after-hours drop-off was explained clearly and proved to be very convenient. We had a really positive experience with them.

Our helicopter glacier tour with another company was cancelled due to weather. We made the best of it and decided to rent a car to see the town. Explore Juneau was so friendly, easy and much more affordable than rentals through the cruise line. They picked us up at the cruise terminal and quickly got us into our car. There were even two cute huskies at the lot for our kids to pet and say hi to. They provided a great map and all kinds of great simple ideas to see the best of Juneau! I would highly recommend booking with them!
