The location is great, very convenient for exploring the main attractions of San Francisco. The area felt clean and safe. The staff were very polite, welcoming, and helpful. It’s definitely a budget hotel and a bit aged, but for the price we paid, it was a good deal. The room was clean and spacious. There’s no daily housekeeping included in the room rate, but you can request it for an extra charge. It’s a good option for a short stay or a few nights. A few downsides the Wi-Fi was pretty bad, the AC was noisy, and there weren’t enough conveniently located power outlets. Overall, a simple, affordable place to stay in a great location.

We had a great stay at the Vintage Court Hotel in San Francisco! The staff were all incredibly kind and welcoming — especially Punya, who was extremely helpful and made sure everything went smoothly during our visit. The hotel was clean and had a lovely vintage charm that fits perfectly with its name. The location is great — close to many attractions and easy to get around from there. If I had to mention one small suggestion, it would be to have removable shower heads in the bathrooms. Also, the elevator felt a bit spooky, but that’s really just part of the hotel’s old-fashioned character! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Vintage Court Hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Nice location for tourists, very safe and breakfast was decent. Rooms are tired but clean, toiletries were l’occitane and smelled lovely, Massive down side was the lift! Our family of 4 got stuck between floors and had to call 911. The emergency phone in the lift was covered in dust and hadn’t been used in decades and the alarm was just a bell in the lift shaft. The lift was hot and cramped and our daughter started having a panic attack. No one from the hotel bothered to come talk to us or reassure us that help was on its way. Thank goodness we had signal to phone 911 or we might still be there! The fire department were amazing and had us out after 40 minutes trapped in there. Very disappointed with the hotel staff as even after we were out there was no one there to check on our welfare. My husband even went down to the desk and there was no apology or any offer of anything to make amends. Not a great start to our first night in San Francisco. I even emailed the hotel for a response on our return home and nothing. Shows how much they care about their customers.

I'm not from SF nor do I come here often, so take this from someone who is not used to the country of California. I gave it a 5 of 5, would come again with some caveats. PROS: * it's in the middle of everything if you're trying to do union square / downtown * Very aggressively priced relative to the other options * Comfortable bed. Better than most IMO * Cold AC * Clean updated bathroom * Great hot complimentary breakfast buffet This is why it's a 5 for me regardless of cons. It has the staples at a great price in a great location. CONS: * Old building with old building smells... but I think that's an SF thing. * Window unit AC, cheap alley view in my room even though skyline is in there too * Furniture (chairs especially) has seen better days but that aligns with the price * Add-ons are steep: $40 for early check in, $40 for your room to be spruced up (they do not clean rooms daily) But... Again starting price is cheap, so, you get what you pay for. Anyway. I'd come back.

Reasonably good choice to visit. The location is perfect, price is very good comparing to the other locations nearby, acceptable room quality. The manager was super kind, allowing our late checkout without additional fee considering our situation coming back from Marathon. Be careful that the parking lot is not 750 Bush St, unlike the google search. I claimed about this point, and they said don't believe all information on internet. I am not sure at this point, but there were two different website for this hotel, and I unfortunately visited the obsolete one.
