I’m very disappointed with how unprofessionally this school operates. I was made to come in twice to retake Step One of the entrance process, only to be contacted months later and told I now have to take the test again for a third time due to a new trimester. There was no communication or follow-up in between. This whole process has been frustrating and feels disorganized. It seems like they only prioritize helping certain students, while others are left in the dark. Time and effort were wasted with no real support or accountability. Do better.

Numerous pre-health students just found out one of their programs (the Basic EKG) no longer meets national requirements as of 5/13/25, and is thus invalid to get tested on for certification. Many have already paid for the summer EKG programs. Hundreds of dollars that now mean nothing, and as a cherry on top, because it's invalid it also no longer counts for bonus points on any health program application. I truly hope they will somehow resolve this. They still have yet to directly notify anyone of this national ineligibility - many are finding out through their health programs advisors and SOCIAL MEDIA. UPDATE TO ADD: They have refunded my money. It will take 7-10 business days. I hope they do the same for others affected!

I graduated from CSN 2007 with an AAS. I've taken classes off and on over the years both for credit and for workforce development. This review is on CSN's registration process in general. It's atrocious. God forbid you come across a class on Friday night you want to sign up for the approaching Tueasday night in the workforce development section and it's been a few years since you've taken a class from these people. You can't get logged in because your account is "de-activated".... the main CSN campus IT people can't (won't??) help you because the workforce development has their own seperate thing happening. CSN had the least user-friendly website of any College I've ever experienced. It's garbage. I've left a voicemail at this point. Class starts tomorrow. I'll probably just show up with $85 in hand and give it directly to the instructor.

I went to this location and manufacturing program; passed it back in August of the year 2022. This program was absolute trash, I went in for the orientation around August of 22 & was told by the professor that I would learn about mechatronics, CNC mill, & pneumatics but it was just a straight out lie as overtime it was revealed to be an automation maintenance course. I didn't quit because I was already well over a month in the program so I just stuck it out. Terrible trash training equipment that didn't even remotely simulate the real world, the online modules were really bad too. Not only that but the professor straight out told me that they have connections, job fairs would come, & would have resources to help me out after graduating but it was just a straight out lie. Not once did they ever help me out, not only that but the professor taught the material really bad, straight out trash professors. I would have to help out the math professor while in session. They also admitted in students who lacked the educational background for this level of course proficiency, me and other students, including the professor would have to hold hands for those who were just a liability in the course and dragging out the training session even longer than what it should have been. For me this was just a waste of time csn really just cares more about the loans for students who qualify. Total waste of my time, if I could go back I would have attended some other institution.
