I’ve been trying to get ahold of someone for a few days now , why are your phones down during the week ? Especially when we have to handle citations

Talked to a lady yesterday about payment plans and they told me I could set one up online they would just email me the information over. Called again today and got told I couldn't, also had a attitude. I've never had to deal with a court that is just such a pain for trying to get citations taken cared of, honestly makes me not want to ever set foot in Lubbock again.

Even the cops at the door couldn't be bothered to comb their hair. Was a funny experience going in there. Had to slow everthing down just to get through it. Very surreal experience. Very unprofessional all around.

Everyone was so nice. From the security guard that guided me through the building, to the lady that helped me with my citation. 10/10 experience.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the handling of a recent citation I received while driving through your city. I fully understand the importance of traffic laws and the role of municipal courts in upholding them; however, I believe the lack of flexibility and consideration in my case was unfair and burdensome. As someone who does not reside in your city, returning for a court hearing posed a significant challenge. The mileage required to attend in person would have resulted in substantial travel expenses, time off work, and other logistical difficulties. Despite explaining these concerns, I was not provided with any reasonable alternatives, such as a virtual hearing, written statement submission, or payment arrangement that could have resolved the matter without undue hardship. This lack of accommodation for non-residents reflects poorly on the court’s commitment to accessibility and fairness. While I respect the need for due process, I strongly urge the court to consider more inclusive and modern options for handling citations, particularly for those who live outside the area. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope steps will be taken to improve the experience for future travellers that might find themselves in the same position.
