I love working with City Box Office. Their website is great and it's easy to pick your own seats. I also think they are really great people, I've gone in to pick up the tickets directly and they are always super nice.

Straightforward box office and ticketing services for local SF promoters and venues. Easy to navigate and reasonable fees. They even have a walk up box office open during the week.

The City Box Office is a sketchy establishment at best with horrible customer service. I recently inquired into ticket sales regarding the Dalai Lama on February 22nd, just on a whim, and this was the response I received. "Dear Mr. Bauer, Tickets for the Dalai Lama went on sale to the public and sold out the first day. They have been sold out for a few weeks." The person who sent me this useless response did not give a name along with their email, nor where they helpful or courteous by telling me about any other bookings the Dalai Lama had through them, nor did they help me navigate their abysmal website. I would never trust or book with this company for anything.
