Let me save you the surprise ticket and the blood pressure spike, this place is a scam with a desk. You can update your permit, get confirmation, go on about your life thinking you’re covered... and BAM, a ticket shows up like it’s on a timer. When you ask why? They’ll point to a vague, buried policy and act like you should’ve known to re-register your already registered vehicle because, apparently, logic is optional here. The system is either broken, rigged, or both and when you try to fix it, customer service throws up their hands and says, “Sorry, not our problem.” No ownership. No accountability. Just a revolving door of fines backed by weak excuses and outdated software. This isn’t public service it’s a revenue machine pretending to manage parking. And they count on residents being too tired, confused, or busy to fight back. So here’s your warning: screenshot everything, ask twice, and expect zero common sense. Because when it comes to Boise Parking Services, the only thing guaranteed… is the charge. One star, That’s being generous.

Need to abolish Boise parking! No motorcycle parking at all, which would require me to use a full space, which is a waste! If you don't use a space they charge motorcycles 70+$ Y'all are a complete wasted of tax payers money!

First of all it is Boise State University area and they have no business what so ever to give ticket IN that area. I was there less than 15 minutes. I parked my car at 12:05 and I got the ticket at 12:12pm. I was there to drop something for my friend who lives at the University dorm. The city of Boise need to do better than that. I hate what they do and I hope something horrible happen to them and they lost all those money that they are getting from people like us that work their ass off just for $10 an hour and are student on top of it. I just paid 7 hour of my shift for less then 10 minutes parking.

Based on these reviews, I apparently am not the only one with these issues. I added extra time to my meter like I always do and went to my appointment. I was 36 weeks pregnant and my appointment was running late but I was still going to make my time. As I went to leave, nausea hit hard. I could either run to the bathroom or throw up all over the building and Broad. I figured I would run to the bathroom and use the app to add time. I had only put 50 minutes on the meter so I should have been able to add ip to another hour no problem. But the app would not let me add time. I still ended ip being under 10 minutes late but got a ticket. Then due to being in the hospital, and the holidays, I missed my he cut off and ended up owing an extra $15. I tried to appeal but of course the city just cares about money and not the actual citizens that they should be taking care of. I would understand repeated offenders but someone coming forward asking for a one time waiver due to circumstances and being told too bad is beyond ridiculous
