**Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend** My recent experience with this airline was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I have very little positive to say. Customer service was virtually inaccessible—any attempt to reach them by phone involved waiting on hold for over an hour. If you don’t select your seats during the booking process, you're unable to do so later and must wait until check-in at the airport. This caused an issue for our group, as we were seated separately. The only workaround was to pay for seat selection in advance, which was quite costly. I also encountered major issues with special meal requests. I followed all procedures and ordered gluten-free meals for both flights. Despite receiving confirmation emails from Aer Lingus, no meal was provided on either leg of the trip. On the outbound flight from Boston to Dublin, the flight attendant said there was no record of my request—even after I showed her my confirmation. On the return flight, the same issue occurred. A flight attendant admitted that this happens frequently and suggested I file a complaint. It was incredibly frustrating to spend so much time arranging this in advance only to be left without food on both flights. To make matters worse, upon arrival in Dublin, my sister’s checked luggage was missing. At the service desk, we were told it was still in Boston, but thanks to an AirTag we had placed in the bag, we knew it had actually arrived in Dublin. After a two-hour wait and repeated follow-ups, the bag was eventually found. It was badly damaged—the top handle had been ripped off along with all the identifying tags. Without the AirTag, it’s likely it would never have been located. Lastly the fruit package given to me expired January 7, 2025. Picture is attached. That’s 5 months ago folks. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. There were multiple failures in customer service, meal service, and baggage handling. I strongly advise considering alternative airlines.

Flown several times on Aer Lingus out of Boston and Philadelphia with great experiences each and every time. Their fleet is newer, onboard service is solid and overall pretty reliable. IFE is ok with a decent amount of TV shows, movies and original Irish content. For a mid-range airline with reasonable fares to Ireland and mainland Europe, you can't go wrong with Aer Lingus.

So I been flighting with Aer Lingus 3 times now to London cuz they are the cheapest I can get.. however the first two times, I got the aisle seats. I didn’t like it.. I thought the seat was so small and uncomfortable 😣 .. little that I know the window seat are more spacious..the seat r still uncomfortable compare to other airline but I gave 3 stars because of my window seat :-) .. no more complain..

If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked a flight months in advance. Aer lingus cancelled my flight the day of and rescheduled me 2 days later. I called and explained this didn't work for me for multiple reasons. It was an operational issue on their end and I was told I would receive full refund of my fare as well as compensation for hotels, food, transport, etc.. I was given a claim number and told to start the claim process on their website. I did this immediately. This was on June 6, 2024. I've yet to receive a refund, compensation or even an email with any sort of status update. I've tried calling again but all I get is an automated system that doesn't allow me to even get into a queue to wait for an agent. I've incurred thousands of dollars in expenses reorganizing the trip and really want my money back. This customer service is the absolute worst of any airline I've ever dealt with. All I need is someone to speak to so I can get some information that an automated system can't give me. Also the information I need is not available on their website. Spend more money and fly with a different airline. It's not worth the headache one bit.

Wonderful! I booked with Aer Lingus BOS-DUB and they offered an incredibly cheap price ($700 roundtrip total price) for business class. The check-in was smooth, staff were helpful, and the flight was on time. My family flew the same flight a few days later in Economy and had a great experience as well. Over our whole trip, no delays or lost baggage and always very helpful and friendly staff. Flight was comfortable and food was very good. Would recommend!
