Plaza Premium YVR Domestic Departures lounge was extremely busy. A couple people to acknowledge. 1. Angela is a wonderful and experienced chef that obviously loves her job and passengers. The parmesan eggplant was delicious and decadent. During busy rush, she also came out to the front to assist the others staff and passengers, like ourselves. She is quick and hard working, making sure things ran smoothly. My husband and I had a stressful day and hoping to relax on the sofa chair together, unfortunately none available. She offered to find the two sofas. Angela made every effort to ensure we were well looked after and made accommodations for us. I was so impressed and grateful. Someone, like herself was very caring. I appreciated Angela taking time to help us out. She truly strived to make every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. I’ve been there several times, no one such as Angela took the extra steps to help us out. Being extremely anxious about flying, Angela made the flying experience much easier to manage by allowing us to sit together and comfortably. 2. Issac is also a very hardworking gentleman is excellent at his job. He is very quick and efficient keeping the lounge clean, organized and moving. Between the two, they work well together.

Nice departure terminal with easy access to the self-check in stations, and the assistance of staff (depending on how busy it is there). Just two major domestic airlines fly here. Sometimes there are other carriers like flait as well, but much less noticeable presence. At least it's good that we have a strong presence of WestJet besides Air Canada, making it much less of a monopoly. ;)

The night bus serves this stop and the A1 to south terminal stop is a bit further along the road

The YVR domestic departure is clean and spacious. We are flying by Air Canada and their self-service kiosk is user-friendly. The whole check-in experience is good! We had to buy some breakfast before boarding and the most economical food we found was Starbucks near Gate C45. There are clean toilets everywhere and we could easily fill up our water bottles at the water fountain outside the toilets.
