Terrible experience flying with them. They over sold business class ticket from London to nyc. No one provided me any notice until I arrived at the airport that they decided to bump me. Online check in through their website was just disabled…. Again with no mention that they bumped me….. agents at the gate and customer service were unable to tell me the reason for getting bumped or how much they’d be refunding if anything at all. Did I just pay $4k for an economy class ticket? Crazy treatment for business class pricing….

The Airbus A380-800 is a monster of an aircraft with two levels and optional seating, depending on how much money you’re willing to spend, or, save the difference and use it for sumptuous meals or entertainment at your destination. We always opt for the latter. Very spacious overhead. Center section is lots quieter than a window seat. Flight crew are always nice and helpful. Generous with the free bottles of wine. It helped the BBQ chicken, rice, canned peas/beans, quinoa salad, roll, cheese, crackers and chocolate mousse. Overall smooth flight and a great landing on Runway 9 Right at London Heathrow.

Worst experience ever, they lost my luggage and after 5 days nobody is doing anything to reach out to me. I keep talking to a contact center in India who says they can’t do anything. I’ve even completed a formal complaint and nobody has reached out to me. Don’t travel with British.

The worst airline I’ve ever flown with. My BA flight had a connecting BA flight. On the day of departure (!), BA cancelled the connecting flight and rebooked me to a cheaper flight from another airline, with barely enough time for the connection. I had to run like mad. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine about three months ago. Her connecting BA flight was cancelled at the connect time! BA had to put everyone up for a night in the hotel and rebook the connection next day. And BA forgot to give everyone a voucher, and so everyone had problem at the connection. Who ever heard of such thing: cancelling your flight on the day of?! And flying Business Class has absolutely no advantage in boarding. BA board First and Business Class first. BUT they are all boarded onto a transfer bus to the airplane along with the economy class. And when the bus stops at the airplane to board, they board everyone at once. So First Class and Business may get on the transport bus first. But they actually board the plane itself at the same time as everyone else. You pay triple the price for no boarding priority. I swear I will never ever fly BA again!!! I swear it!!

These people are thieves. I paid for two extra bags for my stepson's flight. When he got to the check in counter, the agent said there was no record of additional bags purchased, even though I had an email confirmation. After arguing, they made him pay for an extra bag. Then after he paid, they suddenly found the receipt for the two bags and THEN...had the temerity to tell him they could not refund the money he just paid and that we had to go through the BA website. A month later, no refund. This is called stealing and incompetence. I recommend that no one supports this airline with business in any way shape or form.
