I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Spirit Airlines that left me frustrated and dissatisfied. From the moment I arrived at the airport, the customer service was unhelpful, disorganized, and at times, outright rude. The staff seemed indifferent to passenger concerns, and when I asked for assistance with a delayed flight, I was met with vague answers and a dismissive attitude. There was little to no communication about the cause of the delay or when we could realistically expect to board. Even basic courtesy seemed to be lacking. Trying to reach customer service by phone or online was just as frustrating—long wait times, being transferred multiple times, and still not receiving clear answers. It felt like no one at Spirit was taking responsibility for the situation or trying to resolve issues in a timely or respectful manner. I understand that things can go wrong in travel, but how an airline handles these issues makes all the difference. Sadly, Spirit Airlines fell short in every way during this experience. I would strongly urge travelers to consider other airlines that prioritize their customers and provide better service

Go big service is amazing! Had seat 1 A and enjoyed every perk. I kinda wish the front row seats reclined though. That's the only downside.

My recent experience with Spirit Airlines can be summed up in one word: disappointment. I booked a flight hoping for a straightforward trip, but what I got was a cascade of delays and cancellations that completely ruined my travel plans and left me stranded. Our initial flight was delayed by over six hours, a frustrating start to any journey. This wasn't just a minor hiccup; it was a significant disruption that forced us to stay overnight in an airport we had no intention of visiting. We were given no clear explanation for the delay, and communication from the Spirit staff was minimal and unhelpful. We were left to fend for ourselves, scrambling to find a place to rest and a way to deal with the unexpected layover. The next morning, things didn't get any better. As we were finally preparing to leave, I noticed on the departure board at the terminal that Spirit seemed to be a repeat offender. Almost every single one of their flights was either delayed or outright canceled. It wasn't an isolated incident affecting our flight; it appeared to be a systemic issue with their entire operation. This wasn't bad luck; it was, in my opinion, a clear pattern of unreliability. I understand that delays happen, but the sheer frequency and scale of the issues with Spirit are unacceptable. It's one thing to have a mechanical issue or a weather-related delay, but it's another to operate with such a consistent lack of punctuality that it feels like the norm. The "low-cost" price tag is no bargain when you factor in the cost of unexpected hotels, food, and the immeasurable value of lost time and ruined plans. If you're considering flying with Spirit, I would strongly advise you to reconsider. Unless you have an abundance of time and a high tolerance for stress and uncertainty, the potential savings are simply not worth the massive headache that will likely ensue. You get what you pay for, and in the case of Spirit Airlines, what you're paying for is an unreliable, frustrating, and chaotic travel experience.

If I could rate you zero, I absolutely would!!! This is the most disgusting airline I have ever flown with!!!!! We bought tickets without reading the reviews — from New York and back to Los Angeles — and both times something happened with the damn plane or the flight or whatever!!!!!! Just stop flying, don’t transport people, you are the worst company ever, I’m honestly in shock, guys, there are just no words!!!!!!! On top of that, you didn’t even apologize!!! In such cases, at the very least, people should be offered some water!!!!!!!!!!!!! This all happened at 11:34 p.m., when everything in the airport was already closed — not a single store was open, not even a bottle of water to buy! We were just left sitting there with no help or care at all. Absolutely unacceptable!!!

Say what you want about the non reclining seats that barely have any cushion but the employees are the same hardworking people working just like any airline.

The airline attendant who helped the nice cow girl we met in machine was so sweet! She was not rude just asked them to find her tnings when one guy Luis said they didn’t but the other guy checked! Wanted to make sure he knew other people noticed his attention to detail as well!! Spirit airlines is great for solo travel if you just listen and pay attention to great flight attendants like Daniela and Ileania and K
