Reliable. Trustworthy. We had a roundtrip from Virginia to SFO. One lay over on the way to SFO, and one on the way back to Virginia. Of the 4 legs of this round trip, THREE arrived early or on time. The 4th and last leg of the return trip was delayed a few hours due to a mechanical issue. United kept us well informed with timely updates. The communication about the delay was honest, open, and reliable regular. Ultimately, United swapped out the plane with the problem for another plane from another gate. It was impressive. United even offered us water and snacks because the delay was around dinnertime. I have never been so happy to be a few hours late. United treated the traveling customers the right way -- with decency!

Hands down; the worst of the major airlines. This was one of the worst flights I've ever taken. The tray tables on my entire row and my brothers row as well were not steady or level. In fact, they slid down by themselves! I've traveled extensively in my lifetime and have never encountered this issue. The first meal we got, the tray kept on sliding off the table. I had to use the blanket as a base over my leg to create a level for the table, unfortunately this was not enough and my glass of wine slid and spilled all over my pants. This is a major issue for a 14 hour plus flight which costs over $2000. My seatmates held up their trays while they ate. We mentioned this issue to the stewardess; her solution for us was to use the safety manual as a base to stop the tray from sliding down...ridiculous! So I spent the next few hours in wet and uncomfortable jeans waiting for them to dry (as seen in the pictures). I requested a replacement drink...which never came. WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Dropped off cargo and they yelled at me to leave while I was waiting for my dispatcher to say they checked the load for damage. I was very pleasant as always. They didn’t allow me to explain. Feelings so hurt lol Drove 28 hours straight no sleep and handled with care. I don’t understand I was following instructions.

As I was boarding another flight yesterday, I was thinking about all my experiences with United. I’ve been a loyal United Airlines customer for a while now, and I can’t express how pleased I am with their service. I frequently travel from Reading to San Francisco, and honestly, from any city in the United States, and my experiences have always been top-notch. United Airlines consistently provides exceptional customer service, comfortable flights, and a hassle-free booking process. Whether it’s the friendly and attentive cabin crew or the smooth check-in and boarding procedures, they’ve never let me down. Their commitment to making each journey a pleasant one is evident, and I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with flying with United. Sky Trek: 🇺🇲 Trans-Pacific Flight UA863 🇦🇺 14-hour Count-Down to Down Under - San Francisco to Sydney (Australia) The 14-hour flight was the third lap of my journey. 🇨🇦 The trip started in Edmonton (Canada) on Tuesday 12 December 2023 and ended in Sydney (Australia). That was 14 hours later, on Thursday 14 December (local time). ⏰ Crossed so many Time Zones, I have yet to figure out exactly how/where I spent Wednesday 13th. But the excellent food service more than imade up for the ordeal of flying economy aboard the Boeing 777 aircraft. Flight attendants like Oliver, Robin, and Teresa were splendid with their prompt service. They each answered my many questions with remarkable patience. The extra cups of coffee which flowed my way were invaluable. It was my first airplane trip in a few years, and my first out of North America in over a decade. The computerized IT options for passengers (In-Flight & On-the-Go) caught me off guard. It took me time - of which I had plenty - to come up to speed. ✈️ Quite a Sky Trek; the 7000-mile cruise at about 30,000ft above sea level.
