Worst experience of my life. We had to take a connecting flight in Chicago. Then the flight was delayed. No worries, we waited patiently. During that time, we saw a disabled older lady get treated very bad. Our turn to beard came, we went to the line, one of my kids was not in same group so the attendant (black female) said to me I had to wait to board and asked me to move to the right side and we did. What happened next stunned me and has me appalled. My son asked me why we had to wait, I responded with Southwest sucks. We were 10 feet away and the lady heard. She got upset and called the manager and kicked us out of the flight. As simple as that. I guess they don’t take constructive criticism well. I can see why. I called TSA and asked them to do a report. What was funny is that they asked me to erase my video I took. I said. No. This is my only proof that your Coworker got upset and retaliated against us. Not cool. No class, poor customer service. Last time I checked if I am having a conversation with someone and someone eves drops in the middle, it is rude. Again, this is what can you expect from Southwest.

My favorite airline. Been flying since I was 18. Don’t like the baggage change but still will fly them. Always on time or making up time.

I got a great price! They did the best job with limited staff and unruly passengers. There had to be about 6 families with multiple kids. The flight attendants were so kind and helpful. Supplied us with snacks and drinks! Very professional!

You know what you're getting with Southwest. I understand they're due to change some of their policies and I'm sorry to hear it. I like that you can just log in, buy a ticket, and you're done. Charge is if you want to get a more favorable place in a line to get on the airplane. Their prices are very reasonable, so I'm always happy to pay an extra $30 or so to ensure I don't end at the back of the line. It's better than paying the steep, tiered prices to choose your seat on other airlines. Their change policy is very good. I decided to change my plans on the spur of the moment 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. I was on my flight at 2:00 that afternoon. In this case, I could not get preferred seating and ended up as the second to last person for a completely full flight. Nevertheless, my middle seat was comfortable and I was just fine for the quick 3-hour flight from Chicago to Fort Lauderdale.

We travelled to Tampa last week for a wedding - Had an awesome experience with SW - flight was great, flight attendant was hilarious, snacks were great, plane was spacious, clean, flight was great. Advise to people traveling on SW is to use the SW app, be the first in checking in if you don’t have a status with SW. First bag was checked in for free, did not have any delays. MDW is great when flying SW.

We are definitely local Southwest airline flyers & Rewards! On our last flight Dallas to Midway Nov 2025, upon boarding flight the attendant very graciously offered let our 3 yr walk into cockpit! Then Captain allowed him to sit in his seat, truly great experience for our son!! During this time of some "turbulence" with Gov Shut down, Southwest continues to show their special attention to details! Great flight as always, thank you again Southwest!
