The newer Southwest airplanes are very comfortable. They have more legroom! Now you can plug in your newer phones with USB-C. They were still doing the A,B,C boarding. Now you have to pay for checked bags. Carryon bags are still free.

Are you all trying to drive customers away? 30 open seats on a flight and you tried to get an extra $309 to get on that flight. It would have gotten me home 2 hours early. You should be more flexible. Ridiculous!!!! Again 30 open seats. You use to be fun too. Not so much now. Flight attendants on their phones in the galley. Poor customer service.

The lottery system for gaining first pick of available seats on a given scheduled aircraft was novel but now has lost its appeal, in my opinion. Having to use the app and then be online to pick your boarding zone and sequence number is somewhat restrictive and cumbersome. But, there is no "first class" seating for those who pay for safer seats and higher quality snacks on other airlines. Employees are usually happy and interactive with passengers. Mexico and the USA are the flight zones....? Aircraft age and credentialed staff to maintain such aircraft is a daunting task. Back row seats are extremely drafty at 36,000 plus AGL, and after two hours into the flight, if you are sitting in the last rows, you will start to smell the latrine on cold winter flight nights. Window views can be beautiful when you actually see the mighty Mississippi river, othe jets flying and city/borough night lights from the back row seats.

I have flown Southwest for many years and will now consider changing airlines after booking a flight in 2026. My friend and I may not be able to sit together to start our vacation. Expensive upgrades to select seating. BAD decision Southwest.

I enjoy flying Southwest. The boarding process is efficient, and I appreciate the organized system of lining up by number. While Iβm not necessarily a fan of the open seating approach, it works well enough when Iβm traveling alone. However, it can be less convenient when flying with my family, as it is not always possible to find seats together.

Fly Southwest a few times a week. Always clean planes and friendly crew.

Such a pleasure to fly! Easy on and off. Takes a little while longer due to the everyone is bringing on their luggage now but that was okay it eventually got sorted. Fabulous views from the airplane in the sky flight was super fast! Staff was friendly and funny all flights! I will admit it was the first time in my life didnt check a suitcase. Being a short person I apologize I climbed on your seat to retrieve suitcase while 60 passengers stared at me. Short woman problems!
