I was a passionate graduated flight Attendant who paid $5000 to Airline Academy then after Two weeks of my training because of discriminations and corruptions on the background check, my flight training was terminated so all of dreams and pasions wear terminated

As I write this, I have been sitting in the Kansas City airport since 6:00am this morning. Why you ask? American Airlines (aka Republic Airways) decided to do a plane swap so that its Miami passengers could get out of here on time at the expense of its Washington DC passengers. The aircraft originally scheduled to take passengers to Miami had a maintenance problem; Republic's solution was to move its Miami passengers to the aircraft I was supposed to take. They then shifted me and my fellow passengers to the broken aircraft. We're waiting for a part to arrive (supposedly at 11:20am) and then we'll be able to get out of here (supposedly at 1:00pm). An almost SIX HOUR delay. One has to wonder if this at all has anything to do with the continuing drama going on between American and the unions. How did the airline compensate us you might ask? They rolled out the snack cart and thanked us for our patience. There was no attempt to get us out on other flights to other cities where we might connect to DC and get home at a reasonable time. When I tried to change flights, all connecting flights out of major hubs were completely booked. From my standpoint--and my fellow passengers' standpoint--the airline did very little to minimize our inconvenience. In short, they inconvenienced everyone on my flight so they could get another flight out of here on time. It costs virtually nothing to get on the intercom and say "we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." When other airlines have been faced with this same problem, they put their money where their mouth is and bought the whole plane pizza. Thanks for nothing American (Republic). And thanks for reinforcing again the traveling public's perception that you only care about "revenue miles per seat" as opposed to actually taking care of your customers.

They "Needed" to get crew to louisville, thus bumping passengers of the plane including Dr David Dao

Good company, good people, most respectable airline.

Clean and propper nice staff , decent work environment.
