This airline is a disappointment. They do a good job at advertising the inflight experience and it is good (but has shortcomings). However, everything else is abysmal. 1) On a flight from LA to Doha - We got delayed by 4 hours - and then asked to board the flight and once we boarded we were told the flight will no longer be non-stop and they will stop in London. We weren’t allowed to disembark the flight. To top that we ended up no knowing how long we will stay in London and not allowed to leave the plane. In the end we waited 5 hours inside the aircraft. All because they had an issue with their refrigerators not working. If you told us in LA I wouldn’t have boarded 2) Customer service is useless. Take ages to respond on phone and never have the privileges to be able to resolve issues - equip your associates with the ability to do so 3) Never have I been on a business/first class where food runs out on any airline - but at Qatar it does including sparkling water and olive oil

I recently flew with Qatar Airways Business Class and was thoroughly impressed. Having previously traveled frequently with Emirates Business Class, I can confidently say that Qatar Airways offers an exceptional experience that sets a new standard. The seating was incredibly comfortable, with ample space and a fully flat bed, making long-haul flights much more enjoyable. The in-flight service was outstanding, with attentive staff and a well-curated menu that surpassed my expectations. The overall experience was more refined and personalized compared to Emirates. Given this positive experience, I now prefer Qatar Airways for its superior service and amenities, and I won’t be looking back to other airlines. Definitely recommend.

I paid for a comfort seat on flight QR739 from Doha to Los Angeles — but Qatar Airways changed my seat without notice and gave me a terrible one in the last row. I was injured at the airport due to this unexpected change and had to fly with a broken arm and no support or medication from the airline. They refused to compensate me unless I sign a document that waives all my rights. This is unacceptable for a premium airline. Shame on Qatar Airways. I’m filing complaints with QCAA, IATA, DOT, and others. Never again.

Horrible airline. I booked my son on a flight from Doha to LAX and paid extra so he has a seat with extra leg room. The airline changed the flight for some reason, and in the process dropped the seat assignment. Now he’s stuck on a 16 hour flight wedged in a middle seat, and he’s over 180 tall. Of course they’re now saying nothing that can be done. And this all after a layover of 11 hours at the airport because of the flight change. And about Hamad Int’l airport. A room at the hotel in the airport is &400 per night? And a sushi meal in the airport came out to $76 for one person? What the hell?

Despite this, Qatar Airways flight QR0740 slammed the door in her face, abandoning a mother and her kids with no support whatsoever. The counter staff was not only dismissive but outright rude, refusing to accommodate or offer a single viable solution. The complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and responsibility is beyond unacceptable. A family stranded due to circumstances beyond their control, and Qatar Airways’ response? Indifference. Zero accountability. No effort to assist. If this is how they treat passengers in distress, we will NEVER fly with Qatar Airways again. Shameful service!

Despite this, Qatar Airways flight QR0740 slammed the door in her face, abandoning a mother and her kids with no support whatsoever. The counter staff was not only dismissive but outright rude, refusing to accommodate or offer a single viable solution. The complete lack of empathy, professionalism, and responsibility is beyond unacceptable. A family stranded due to circumstances beyond their control, and Qatar Airways’ response? Indifference. Scheduled and paid for,two months earlier than day of flight, ticket seats (2)from Rome, Italy to CapeTown, South Africa and return. Picked and paid extra for two economy seats numbered 12 or less round trip( leg room). In Rome we queued up 2 or more hours early to receive our paper boarding passes (it took a second agent to be issued our two boarding passes). When boarding in Doha on the second leg of the trip we complained prior to takeoff about our confirmed electronic ticketed seats being different from the paper boarding assigned seating issued in Rome (another family also experienced the same problem and complaint. This second family had the aircraft return to the boarding gate to be offloaded and have their baggage retrieved.). Back of the aircraft with less leg room and uncomfortable was our seats. We follow-up complained even more to Qatar Airways in (1)CapeTown, (2)Doha (on the return trip), (3) by email on our trip completion, (4)and by phone call. Qatar Airways fail to address the complaint, never answered, or provided a refund. Qatar Airways customer service is poor and disappointing!
