I stayed here overnight for an early morning flight and was pleasantly surprised! There are plenty of comfortable couches to rest on, and the entire building is exceptionally clean. Going through TSA took just five minutes, and the agents were very friendly—even with the government shutdown going on. As for food options, most restaurants are located before security, so be sure to grab something to eat before heading to your gate. Inside the concourse, there’s only a Starbucks and a small snack area. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this airport!

This is a great, not so small, airport in the Triad. There is never any traffic in or around d the airport. Long term parking is directly across the street and a short walk. Arrival & Departure areas are clutter/traffic free and so easy to navigate. You pull up right in front of the airport doors. I side you are greeted by a spacious lovely airport. We flew American Airlines and the employees went above and beyond in assisting us. We got there one hour 15 minutes before our flight to Miami with connection to San Salvador. I considered it domestic but they said it was international. Technically we were late and they would not take our check in luggage anymore. A lovely employee explained that to me but then took us over to 1st class check in and along with two other lovely ladies made phone calls to make sure they came to get our luggage and checked us in at the same time. The 3 employees worked great as a team to not ruin our vacation. I wish I would have gotten their names because I owe them a huge thank you and am completely indebted to them. We were able to go through security quickly and still had time to spare before boarding. This gave us an opportunity to check out the beautiful artwork displayed along the airport. Love flying from here over the bigger airports!

I absolutely love this airport!! Customer service here is phenomenal, and this year I have noticed a lot more options for directed flights. It’s much less crowded than the other surrounding airports, and they do have a Starbucks as well! The bathrooms could use a little updating but they are always squeaky clean.

It's always so nice to pass through this airport because everything is super simple. No long lines, or crazy TSA lines. Small, clean, and simple!!

Airport is fine. But T he only restaurant has no personal contact whatsoever. They do not greet you or even let you know EVERYTHING is done with a QR code. I asked after a bit if my food order went in and still no response confirming or denying if I will be eating soon. 🫤

I have flown through Piedmont Triad International Airport several times. I have flown using different airlines & the attendants are always friendly & knowledgeable. There is usually no wait at the TSA checkpoint even though PreCheck does not have a separate line. While the airport is small it has great shopping & restaurants. Usually the last flights come in around midnight to 1 AM daily. During busier times like holidays there are several more daily flights & they can be much later. There is also usually no shortage of prearranged transportation like Uber & Lyft available to take you to hotels etc. In conclusion, I'd highly recommend using this airport whenever possible.
