Google Review – Korean Air (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport) ★☆☆☆☆ 1 star Date of Experience: October 23, 2025 Flight: Korean Air noon departure from Seattle (SEA) → Seoul (ICN) This is the worst airline operating in the USA. Korean Air does NOT allow online check-in for U.S. flights — forcing every passenger to the counter. Their real goal? Weigh your carry-on + personal backpack TOGETHER. Policy: ✅ Carry-on + backpack = 15 lbs MAX total ❌ My laptop + charger alone = ~8 lbs ❌ Added iPad & sweater = 2 lbs over 💸 Penalty: Forced to check carry-on for $200 At 11:15 AM, right before boarding, they weighed my bags in front of everyone. No warning on their website. No chance to move items. Just: “Pay $200 or miss your flight.” This isn’t about safety — it’s a deliberate cash grab targeting U.S. travelers. I fly often. No other airline does this. Avoid Korean Air. Fly Delta, Alaska, or Asiana instead. Don’t be their next piggy bank.

Better than any American airline traveling to Asia, that's for sure. My favorite part is how after you go through security, get all your luggage, and physical person checked for anything dangerous, you sit down in the airplane and get given dinner. Featuring metal silverware complete with a 6 inch serrated knife and a sharp fork. I've been flying Korean Air for like 9 years and this always stands out to me. In the US, we used to have "bat day" at the baseball park. But people started hitting each other with the bats and that's why we can't have nice things. Korean Air has figured out how to have a bunch of people, and still have nice things. Color me impressed. P.S. If you ever have the option to travel an airline like... Delta, and get their "upgraded seat" or to travel Korean Air and take their basic economy for the same price, take Korean Air. It's nicer, higher quality, and better service. And they serve you dinner with what's basically a tiny sword. It's awesome.

I really enjoyed travelling by Korean air. I experienced non stop flight from Incheon to JFK-Incheon and Incheon to Seattle-Incheon for their comfortable service.

Went from SEA to ICN, very nice seats, friendly staff, great food, and an all around great flying experience. Would definitely fly them again
