I had a great experience flying with Frontier Airlines. Despite my initial skepticism, my flights turned out to be wonderful. One tip I have for fellow travelers is to pay for your carry-on bag online to avoid higher fees at the airport. Additionally, if you're bringing a personal item bag, make sure it's within the size limits of a typical handbag, as they do measure these at the gate. I give 4 stars because both flights were delayed by close to 3 hours, both leaving and returning.

The most painful, humiliating, and exhausting experience with flying I have ever had. I could say more, but my snotty sweatshirt and the three dozen tears I wept say enough about the service I received. As I read other reviews, I am prompted to include more details. My first moment with Frontier included being told that they don’t print boarding passes for me. As long as I have lived, this is just common practice with an airline. I was told that it would be $25 just to print my boarding pass. It is true that they nickel and dime for everything. This is only a cheap flight if you have nothing but yourself and a light carry on. The story only gets worse from our first moment together. I was told that I was only two minutes late to check in. I was not late for my flight. I was late for check in. The lady next to me was too. The people behind the desk had no mercy. Just flat looks on their face. And it honestly felt like they were looking for more from us, and of course they got it, because I had to purchase an entirely new flight through frontier. $200 later and 10 hours later than planned, I arrived at my destination. It’s funny. Once I got through TSA, I actually sat in front of the plane I was supposed to fly out of 20 minutes. It sat there with the door closed, people moving around the captain’s cabin, people filling up the fuel tank, and I just sat there knowing that what was supposed to be a three hour trip was soon going to become a 17 hour trip that included five hours sitting in Denver, which had nothing to do with my flight to Minneapolis. Also, I was quietly singing as I was waiting for our flight to depart, and I was told twice by a flight attendant to hush. I promise you, my singing is only meant to be beautiful and light and encouraging, especially when we are waiting. My singing was not obnoxious or over a polite volume. But the flight attendant with overly obnoxious fake eyelashes, and clearly fake black person hair, made me out to be like some major disruptor of the peace.

See the screen shots for yourself and be the judge of Frontier Airlines customer service. If I could leave a Zero star review, I would. Trust me... pay more money to utilize the other airlines. I thought the flight was a good deal so I jumped on it. I was supposed to be home by midnight allowing me to get at 5-6 hours of sleep before work. My flight was delayed over 3 hours from Denver to Minneapolis causing me to miss work. I reached out to Frontier's customer support to see if I can receive compensation for the delay but all i got was a bot that would check in every 5-6 minutes (based on the last time I responded "Yes"). I ended up wasting an hour of my life. Instead of speaking to an actual person I got a bot that gave me the run around. Southwest and Delta both responded to my colleagues within 10 minutes and they both received credit for flights on the same day that were delayed for the same exact reason. Either way it is concerning that Frontier either has so many problems that all of their customer support representative were busy or they just don't care enough to provide enough support for their current staff to properly attend to their customers needs. I will never use Frontier airlines again and I hope others see this and take my advice as well. Nothing Frontier can do will ever change my mind about what I experienced. I wouldn't even fly for free for the rest of my life with Frontier.

This trip was all about exploring the city using public transportation. For just $4, I had unlimited access to both the metro and buses. The convenience was unbeatable—after landing, it was less than a 10-minute walk to the metro station 🚉

Terrible service all around. Rude, not helpful. Saw them disrespect a woman with 3 crying kids who were missing their flight. They couldn’t care less but you get what you pay for.
