    This was my first time flying EVA air with my family. The cabin and seating areas are clean with complementary wifi. They have an assorted selection of current movies and shows to binge on. No need for my downloaded shows from Disney plus. The stewardesses are very friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable and happy for their professionalism. Our first meal we get to choose from chicken and rice, or salmon pasta. Even though my salmon was marinated and delicious, the chicken rice looked really good too. The last meal was a seafood congee or eggs potato. I am so glad I chose the congee. They had a cute bag of fish floss I never tried before and it was so delicious!!! I think I’ll stick with Asian items in an Asian flight from now on. The bathrooms were consistently monitored by the crew which surprised me. Even though it was a 12 hour flight, I’ve never ever been this comfortable and happy. Thank you EVA.

    (to EVA Air: I must remind you again that you are not the Immigration. If the Taiwanese Immigration itself allowed me to enter the country with the resident entry permit without any pending requirements, why would you, a private company, have this immigration authority to which you are not entitled? The immigration document I presented was clear that it was a final decision, it had no pending information to enter the country!) Besides the embarrassment we endured and almost missing our flight, EVA Air stressed us out to the point of writing this review. The airline tried to prevent our boarding because they mistakenly thought my resident entry permit was missing data (a NON-MANDATORY information). We waited half an hour because they had to call someone to see if we could board the plane, all while we were embarrassed in line, perceived by the other passengers as the "cause" of the plane's delay in takeoff. Finally, EVA Air realized their mistake and allowed us to board, without any apology, as if they were doing us a favor by rushing us onto the plane. Apart from the initial stress at the counter, the service on board was terrible. We didn't understand the difference in treatment between a caucasian and an asian passenger. The same flight attendants who served us treated caucasians politely while those of asian descent were treated rudely. I must remind you that racial discrimination is a crime! I don't recommend EVA Air to anyone and suggest you choose another airline. Avoid this airline at all costs if you want to have any semblance of self-respect.

    A month a go, I flew with EVA Air from San Francisco to Taipei, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service provided by the cabin crew was top-notch, and the food served onboard was absolutely delicious. One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the inclusion of Jason Wu's pajama set and the Armani overnight kit. These added touches of luxury truly enhanced the overall comfort of the journey. It's not every day you find an airline that goes the extra mile to provide such high-quality amenities. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with EVA Air and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a premium travel experience. From the excellent service to the delectable cuisine and luxurious amenities, EVA Air exceeded my expectations in every way.

    It's my first time to have a trip to Taiwan. I am so impressed by the kinds of people, the riches of the culture, and the beautiful scenery. I am 100% satisfaction of this trip. But eventually, I only can give 90%, the 10% of dissatisfaction is from Eva Airline. When I tried to book the flight from YVR to Taoyuan, there are two options, one is China Airline, and another is Eva. Even though Eva is more expensive than China Airline, I eventually booked the Eva, because they belong to Air Alliance, and I am the member of Aeroplan. When I am booking the ticket, I input my Aeroplan number and confirm it's correct. In the same way, I booked Eve from Taoyuan to another destination. When I came back, I found the points were not added to my Aeroplan accounts. I called Customer Service. What they answered is the points list on the booking website is only for Eva members, not for the Air Alliance members. They said I need to check somewhere else about the points policy which does not mention on booking page. I flew several other Air Alliance flights and the similar classes, but never had this experience. I feel I was CHEATED. I wish Eva would explicitly mention the policy, even with a very simple reminder. And I also hope they can check if there are any other traps that customers are easy to be caught in.

    Whenever I fly anywhere in the world, I always trust Eva. They are always on time and have the best customer service I've ever had experienced, especially on transfer flights. They go the extra mile to make sure you are well informed upon exiting the plane and have people guiding you to your new gate. How many Airlines can you say do that? Food and comfort is also as always top notch, there's plenty enough leg space for economy passengers and food is always tasty, which is very rare to say when you're 30,000 feet up in the air in a pop can with wings! 😁
