I have mixed feelings about flying Etihad from SFO to Jaipur. Flight was a mix of American Airlines and Etihad. The AA portion of the flight sucked, and waiting in ORD was no fun since Etihad didn't have a lounge over there. I'm still waiting on the miles by the way. The flight to Jaipur via Abu Dhabi was amazing though. The flight, the flight hosts, the service was really excellent 👌🏾. The Lounge in Abu Dhabi was a refreshing stop with the showers and the amenities and the last leg of the flight was pretty cool.

Worse than cheap airlines Our Etihad flight was delayed by over 3 hours, which put our car rental at risk. Despite online check-in and originally booking window seats together, staff reassigned both me and my partner to separate middle seats without explanation, ruining our rest and comfort. The entertainment system on my first flight didn’t work either. Overall, poor communication and a stressful experience.

Recently I flew with Ethihad. The experience was not as per my expectations. In terms of Services flight attendants didn't bother much. I asked for a drink twice, I finished my meal but still waited until I asked another attendant. I asked for chicken rice and paneer rice. I shared photos, but could not overcome my expectations. I came as a student, there no discount on extra luggage. I had to pay 17k for extra . I believe the services should be better.

$1,500 Baggage Fee — Worst Airline Experience Ever If you enjoy surprise charges and feeling scammed, this is the airline for you. No clear info on luggage or seat fees, then a delightful $375 each way for one suitcase — twice — for a grand total of $1,500 in baggage fees. Plus, they charge extra just to pick a seat. Truly unforgettable, for all the wrong reasons.

Etihad Airways boasts luxurious amenities but suffers from cramped seating and prohibitively expensive fares. Despite the premium experience, the high cost and limited comfort may deter budget-conscious travelers from choosing Etihad for their journeys.
