My friend learned to fly from here in the early eighties everything he learned he taught me so I ended up learning how to fly for cheap. Before all the roller coasters, snap rolls and hammer head stalls the biggest thrill I got was driving my race car at Elko speedway. We would fly at least three times a week trading the cost for the plane every other time. i was twenty two then and I was forever changed having the experience of flying small aircraft. I always said for excitement there was flying first, racing cars second and sex third, no offense to the women I have known. For the countless times I have flown from this airport I have never had a negative experience. I recommend you go over to Crystal Skyways grab a plane and an instructor and go and get you some of that zero gravity stuff.

Live close by, this morning sounded like we were going to have those planes come through our roof, they being so loud, and flying so low it shakes the house. And then to start at 9 in the morning with them constantly fly overhead. Super annoying.

A great small airport with two sets of parallel runways and one is grass! Not too busy and the tower controllers are very helpful. The only downside is that the fuel monopoly makes fuel prices ridiculous.
