What's wrong with this company, that I can't get online tickets? But no I had to stand in a line for in hour to get a boring pass . Didn't even had a luggage to turn in .....so yes didn't quite like it

The biometric scan feels incredibly distopian, and does nothing to promote airplane safety

Extremely dry cabin, had to pay for movies on a 9 hour flight, and they keep the lights on for most of the flight.

On May 20,2024 we booked two round trip business tickets on Expedia to Munich Germany at a cost of $6079.96. The travel date was to be September 10,2024. On the weekend of September 6th my wife was diagnosed with compression fractures of T7 and T8 vertebrae and was fitted for a back brace and a course of rehabilitation. I then called Expedia to cancel my flight and was told I had to deal with the airlines for refunds. Although I booked the flight on Lufthansa (an airline we have preferred on past trips) we were booked on an airline called Condor. Not being able to do anything on line, I called and waited. I related my story of my wife breaking her back and wanted to cancel my flight and a refund. The woman on at customer service for Condor Airlines informed me, in a rather cavalier voice, that my ticket was non refundable. I asked her if I had and recourse and was informed that for a two thousand up charge she could reschedule my flight. With an appointment with a neural surgeon on the day of your flight and not knowing what the future would be, told the customer service reprehensive that we could not make the flight. She informed me, in a condescending matter of fact way, that the full cost of the flight would be lost and did not offer even a future discount. We have always tried to fly with Lufthansa but this will be the last time. I am of the age that we have many friends, colleagues and family that fly often. I have always sang the praises for Lufthansa but no more; just the opposite. I hope they enjoy our money, Caveat emptor.
