Late departures. Not enough food on board for all the passengers. But, hey, BA don’t care! Austin to London flight delayed for over 1.5 hours for no given reason. But they do want to charge a hefty price! Hate to say it, but delta runs a better ship.

My husband is a disabled vet, so medical needs were in his suitcase. British Airways allowed his bag to sit at the Austin airport for 5 days while we were in Europe, even after I called their customer service center in India 7 times. I ended up calling customer support instead and finally Aishwarya heard me, but I will never fly BA again and I recommend that if you are a veteran that you find another airline.

Extremely horrible experience. They lied. They lacked any reason. They kept me waiting for literally hours for a supervisor...afterwards finally telling me she had decided not to come out of her office. Caused me and my family over $2,500 additionally, eventually days later rebooted us without even giving us the business economy we had paid for. I will never ever book with this company again. I spent days talking to them on the phone, always had to wait countless hours, were told conflicting things. It was a nightmare no one should have endured. Skip this airline at all costs.

Absolutely hideous customer service. It used to be an exceptional airline. Go with Delta, American, United or any other airline. Incredibly disappointed and shocked at the level of incompetence. If you’re a Brit, you should feel ashamed

I strongly recommend that you never do business with British Airways (BA). They make commitments (in writing) that they do not keep. On a recent trip to Europe my BA return flight cancelled. They did reschedule me for another airline and in writing offered to assist with a hotel if necessary due to flight schedules. However, the new airline requires payment of additional taxes to confirm my seats. Due to the schedules of the new flights, we had to get to a hotel for a night in the transit. I reserved this hotel because BA had committed in an email to reimburse us. Following the BA reimbursement process and providing all necessary documentation, BA refused to pay. They offered repeated “We are sorry...” emails. As a result, I paid almost $800 out of my own pocket due to their cancellation of our flight. They attributed the cancellation due to a strike in France, however, all other airlines managed to fly. Do not trust BA and they do not deserve consideration for any travel.
