From Spirit to Breeze: A Tall Traveler’s Upgrade I used to fly monthly from LAX to Pittsburgh, and for a long time, the only nonstop option was the infamous Spirit Airlines. No need to explain just how brutal those Spirit seats are — they don’t recline, and as a tall guy, my knees were constantly jammed into the seat in front of me. The only tolerable option was their “Big Front Seat,” but those are usually sold out months in advance. Then I discovered Breeze Airways, and honestly — it changed the game. Breeze gives you real choices: Basic seats as cheap as Spirit Extra legroom seats Extra extra legroom seats And yes — first class, with wide, comfortable seats that you can either purchase directly or bid on in an upgrade auction. I just won my bid for first class — and I’m now flying with more legroom and comfort than Spirit ever offered, at a lower price. Only catch? When you check in at LAX, Breeze operates from a remote terminal — so you’ll need to catch a quick 2-minute shuttle. Not a big deal, but it’s smart to arrive early. Bottom line: Breeze saw a problem and solved it. If you're tall, value comfort, or just tired of being squeezed by Spirit, give them a try. I'm glad I did.

Economical non stop flights. Can't beat it. Its at terminal 1 but flies out of Bradley terminal at l.a.x so a shuttle is necessary after ck in and to claim luggage

Never again. Airplane was filthy, and when we boarded, I asked the flight attendant why there were crumbs all over our seats and she said, “they’re just crumbs.” I asked if she could clean it and she directed me to the bathroom where I could find some paper towels. This was after we waited an hour to drop off our bags because they’re understaffed. Flight is delayed as well. It’s not worth it.

Their customer service is powerless or unwilling to help. Had a booking issue because of Breeze Airways technical glitch on the app and then again on the web page and was timed out before payment was accepted both times - at that point their app/site would not accept payment. The price was hiked in between tries. I contacted customer service for help and they *admitted that their app and site has a technical glitch that puts some customers in an infinite loop until they are timed out and that payment is not accepted*. Unfortunately when we tried again and then again, the price was hiked by over $140 between my wife and I. Their customer service in essence said too bad. We were booking last minute for a funeral and they have the only direct flight currently. Didn’t matter to them. Their text support would not help or give an email address for further claims/help. I do not think this airline is scrupulous.

Breeze is the Temu airline on par with Allegiant, relies on AI text and an obscure email to get support. Flight was cancelled, the info. was sparse and ground crew no help other than text or email. They failed to send an email with info. On hotel, meal reimbursement $150 max….they won’t rebook you on another airline…avoid
