I would give 10 stars if I could, oh what the heck, 10 stars! We went to the third of July air show and fireworks. So awesome. The City of Chesterfield and the Anderson airport put on a fantastic show. Great DJ, and food vendors. Great fireworks show. Outstanding traffic, parking and crowd co trol from the Chesterfield police department. No parking fee or admission fee. Just vendor cost, (cash only). Coolers welcomed. I hope the pictures can be expanded and the video works.

This is a tough review to do. We flew in for a holiday weekend as we were visiting family. The staff was very friendly and the gentleman in the tower was awesome. We got fuel a few times while there and it worked perfectly. The FBO was clean and well maintained and we were able to park our plane and it was secure and we didn't encounter a problem. The runways are very well maintained. The problem came when we flew out at night for some local site seeing and returned on Sunday (during the Labor day weekend in 2018) The tower was not manned and upon trying multiple times to get the runway lights on we could not get them on! The field was COMPLETELY BLACK!!! No maker lights nothing! We had to make a dark landing and did so successfully and then could barely find our way down the taxiways. My husband then called on Tuesday after the holiday and talked with the manager and she told him that they were experiencing a power glitch and that they were still working on it! He told them that they could at least make that known and they didn't seem to be too concerned over it. So although the airport was very nice and most everyone we encountered was friendly we had a horrible experience with the night landing.

We had a such a great time here! We took the Ford Tri-motor flight. It was an amazing experience. The building was beautifully maintained and the staff very very nice.
