Every single American Airlines gate agent will lie and say the overhead bins are full forcing you to hate check your back and adding an hour to your destination because now you have to wait for your bag. But when you get on the plane you will see half the bins remain open and are never filled, especially after they force every single passenger in groups 8 and 9 to hate check. If you're going to have a bad policy, at least make one where every customer can't see that you're lying every single time.

Melissa helped me rebook a flight that got changed and then canceled without my knowledge. We were both on hold and calls for an hour and a half, but I got rebooted on United to get to where I needed to onetime. Melissa was awesome, and helped me through a pretty stressful experience. She deserves a raise or something because 2 other employees, her manager, One World, and American Airlines were no help.

After a terrible experience with United Airlines, we rebooked our travel via Cathay Pacific, which connected through American Airlines out of CMH on 01/09/2025 and the difference was night and day. Michael at the CMH check-in counter was outstanding, efficient, professional, and genuinely helpful. Check-in took less than 10 minutes, possibly even less. Later, when I realized I had forgotten to provide our KTN information, we returned to the counter, and Michael promptly corrected it without any hassle. His attentiveness and professionalism made the entire process seamless. For international flights out of CMH, I will definitely choose American Airlines moving forward. They seem to have a much better understanding of U.S. travel policies and international travel requirements, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. Thank you, Michael!:)

The air line cleaning crew came in I was in the restrooms and the lady was saving my cane for her self and when I asked about my cane she acted as if she didn’t know anything but she brought it down because it was next to her in her possession so I grabbed it and said thi is mine fight 2337 out of Dallas to Columbus

If you're luggage is damaged they direct you to scan a QC code and file a claim online. They refuse to let you speak with upper management. I've experienced a higher percentage of damage luggage with American airlines vs other airlines. I travel constantly for work living out of my luggage. I've barely time to purchase new parts or luggage. If you have any type of non visible disability, they do not care how much they've amplified your challenges. I will be choosing Delta or United when ever possible going forward. If a wrap around service can identify a path to rectify the cascade of damages they've incurred, I will be seeking legal compensation.
