I've had 4 flights with these guys in the last week. Not one has left on time, and another was cancelled, adding another connector, which is also delayed. They seem to take customers for granted and don't care if your flight is delayed or canceled. Not sure of your options but choose anyone else.

COLORFUL BROTHERLY LOVE airport! This is one of my favorite airports. It is reminds me of layers of glass blocks filled with colorful vibrant art, niche shops, including a duty-free shop and lots of people coming and going. The Phili-TSA staff are always courteous and helpful. The shop workers are always helpful, caring and cheerful when we are there, be it early morning departures or late night arrivals.

We had one of the most frustrating airline experiences with American Airlines. Our flight sat on the plane for 2 hours because the flight crew was understaffed and we had to wait for another crew to fly in. While stuck in freezing conditions, we pressed the call button to politely request a blanket and were literally yelled at by a flight attendant for asking—simply because she had to stand up. Totally unprofessional and unnecessary. Because of their delay, we missed our $300 pre-scheduled car ride and were forced to pay for a last-minute hotel. When we asked American for any kind of compensation, we were rudely told “things happen.” One of their own staff even admitted they are very unorganized and flat out suggested we should “use another airline in the future.” This was not only a huge inconvenience and expense, but also some of the rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced. American Airlines clearly does not value their passengers’ time, comfort, or loyalty. I would strongly recommend choosing literally any other airline if you want reliability and basic respect.

Regularly delayed Old planes Unreliable Delay updates are mostly false, leaving you in the dark. But that’s the insidious thing. They string you along so that you don’t choose another provider. They keep you holding on to hope that everything will work out in 40 minutes. BS. I’m tried of it AA. They constantly have delays even when it’s the first flight in the morning. Over priced at smaller airports. Would not recommend. It’s sad, I’ve been flying AA, and formally USAIR, for over 30 years. The decline in their fleet reliability, lack of new aircraft and service is suffering in my opinion. I fly 1 or two times a month. Just about every round trip has some delay. And I’m not talking about weather delays at the airport or nationally delayed planes coming in from weather delays. This is an airline that constantly has mechanical problems over and over and over again. My flight # 868 to Nashville supposed to depart at 3:14. Now boards at 8:25 with a 9 pm departure. ( but I can’t trust that as I write this at 6:40PM) 5 hour!!!!! with several false updates. You can do better AA. Much better. FAA I beg do something about this problem. This is the USA !

I arrived at the airport earlier than I should have about 6 hours early. Had to be here to drop off my son. Checked my bag. And was instructed what to do with the bag. The ladies there at checkin said if you are early go to the kiosk and if the system allows you to check your bag then you can, they can't help if you are earlier than 3 hours. Apparently the kiosk runs by different rules. Now hopefully my bag makes my flight. 😀

Flight to Nashville- The flight was delayed 20 minutes, which I'll gladly take. I believe the flight made up some time thanks to a quick boarding process. Seats were comfortable, granted I'm comparing it to Frontier and Spirit. Wifi was available to purchase but I feel it wasnt worth the price for the time alotted. They do have some free movies you can watch on your device as well. I recommend you download some movies on your devices. You also get a free little bag of graham crackers and a non-alcoholic drink on your flight. Flight back to Philly- The Bonbardier CRJ was an interesting smaller plane. Our larger carry on bags had to be "gate checked" but they made it safe and sound. Smaller aisle to walk up/down so whenever the attendant would walk by, you should expect some unintentional bumps. Wifi was down for this trip, but as long as you have some entertainment downloaded on your devicez its no big deal. There was some expected turbulence so the in flight service was done quicker and they managed to get to everyone. Probably because some people just fell asleep immediately. Was also offered a $70 upgrade to first class, but the benefits didnt feel worth it to me. Overall, no complaints. Also like that the pilots made clear announcements and that they wasted no time with takeoff once cleared. They made sure to get everyone to their destination in a safe and timely manner.
