I’ve flown in and out of Austin airport using Alaska Airlines approximately six times now and I have had nothing but excellent service. They have been usually on time with arrival and departures. We get timely app notifications, which I appreciate. On one occasion, there was one CSA employee at the counter that I noticed while in the line. She appeared as of though she was not feeling like she wanted to work or smile and work at 4am. LOL! However, by the time she assisted me, she ended with a smile and stated to have a great day. I am happy to continue flying with Alaska Airlines. 😃

I was on flight AS 518 on August 6, 2025, 4:11 pm flying from TX, and the flight attendant, "Dominic", went above and beyond our expectations—not only for us but for everyone on the plane. Thank you! I highly recommend that his exceptional service be recognized and rewarded.

Most of the counter and baggage staff here are just fine, no complaints there. However, the woman calling herself the manager is extremely unpleasant to deal with. There's another review here describing an employee hitting their coworker with a cart and then yelling at them, I am 100% certain that's the same person I dealt with when checking in for an international codeshare flight last month. She was rude, obstructive, verbally abusive, and intentionally damaged and delayed my bags because I objected to the way she was treating me.

The service was okay but there were no TV screens on our 737 so bring your own entertainment.

Had a flight from Austin Texas to Seattle to bring a new puppy home. The information they had on the site was easy to see what requirements I needed to be able to fly the little guy. The staff at the airport was fantastic about making sure he got pets and cuddles before going into his crate. You are given a tag when you pet is loaded onto the plane, so you don't have to worry about him being left behind. Pick up on the other end at Seattle was quick, they really worked to get him to me as soon as possible

Alaska is a waste. Customer service doesn't exist anymore. I understand you can't do anything about weather delays but they don't care about you. They stick you on a plane for 6 extra hours with no air no room to breathe or stand. Offer you nasty water from a box. They need better customer service. You wait 6 hours for a storm to pass but the store lasts 30 minutes. The rest of the time is sitting and waiting for what? In a hot airplane at that. At least let people get out stretch their legs or something. Poor service. I won't be using any "credit vouchers" offered cause its not worth the hassle.
