I don’t usually give bad ratings, but Air France was really disappointing. On a 10.5 hours flight from India to France, they served 1 meal comprising one hot dish (from India to France there was an omlette and on the flight back there was no option of veg or non veg at all, just veg and that too some pesto gnocchi), 1 bread, butter, 1 salad and one small dessert. No wines or “champaigns” as they promise on their long haul flights. Absolutely rude flight attendants, the ladies are still good but then men attendants were really rude. One male flight attendant did not have the decency to say “excuse me” even, did not offer verbally “tea or coffee?”, and although not to me, but to the old lady next to my seat this man just pushed her chair upright while serving the meals. I understand that the people at the back need to open their tray tables, but man there’s a way to ask someone to get their seat upright instead of just shoving her. The poor aunty was shocked and so was I at this behaviour. No one ever answers the call button on this flight, if you’re sitting at the window seat and the people next to you are asleep you don’t want to disturb them just because the attendants don’t do their job well. The leg space is the crampiest, tightest I have ever seen- and trust me I have done multiple trips on Lufthansa, Ethiad, ANI, Jal, KLM local, Air India Internatioal, in fact even Thai Air has better quality of services than Air France. All European airlines are quite low in quality compared to our Asian and Middle eastern airlines, but Air France I feel consciously makes an effort to be so bad. And above all this, their economy check-in’s are the last on airport, their luggage comes super delayed (after 55 mins always post landing), their infotainment systems are broken/ don’t work and have the least possible media. There’s absolutely zero positive I have to say about Air France beyond the fact that the airlines took us safely from one location to another at reasonable rates.

Flight from Paris to Seattle was good, uneventful. However, the restrooms! Air France, please add a deodorizer to the restrooms. I realize it’s difficult to keep them completely clean during a flight but the stench was almost unbearable. It was all I could do use them.

I flew with Air France from Paris to Washington, Dulles International Airport, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly generous and friendly, and I encountered many kind and truly amazing people. The food was great as well. From now on, I will always choose them for my trips from the Middle East.

What a horrible airline. The ONLY reason I'm giving three stars is due to the pilots. The actual flight was smooth. Service? Pshh. What service? In the air almost 12 straight hours and they gave us a meal right when we got off of the ground and another snack about an hour before we landed. Other than that? The flight attendants stood around in back, talking during the entire flight. If we needed something, too bad. No call button, nor an air vent. Regardless of the actual plane, though, the flight attendants failed to let us know that it was a self-service flight. Come to find out after exploring, they had absolutely repulsive half sandwiches and some caramels in the back for people to graze on. We got offered water twice. How generous. The bathrooms were disgusting. Urine all over the seats and floor. Whether it's their job to clean or not, flight attendants could at least check the bathrooms occasionally. Literally all these people did was socialize for 98% of the flight. Never again. Virgin, British Airways, hell, even Delta would get my business long before Air France ever will again. I reiterate - what an absolutely horrible experience.

I had such a great experience with Air France! My sister was having some issues with her travel documents when returning to France, and we were so worried about missing our flight from Phoenix to France. Thankfully, flight attendant Kaitlyn Dwyer went above and beyond to help us. Because of her kindness and professionalism, we were able to make our flight. She was absolutely amazing, and we are so grateful for her assistance. Thank you, Air France, for having such wonderful staff!
