I was treated like a criminal. Friday flight from Mex to Reynosa. Just inside the gate they said to put my carry on in the metal box. I did with just a little effort. They say no you have to check it. I was like, I paid extra for their am plus, not really worth it except earlier boarding and 15 kg instead of 10 kg. The terrible agent said I had to leave, go to airport entrance, pay to check my luggage, be escorted by security and take a later flight. I have every bad name to call that guy. My wife came and helped with another agent and I just check my luggage at the airplane entrance. I don’t understand why if I was paying for an upgrade seat, luggage and it fit in their box. The agent was a totally jerk!!! In the past I much preferred this airline to vivaaerobus but I think I will fly the other airline now after this extremely terrible experience.

After AM1685 flight is delayed by 11.5 hours they’ve changed seat for me wife and baby to the last seat that has no recline. I have reserved the seat months ago, but still they assigned no recline. I’m not even complaining about the 12 hour delay, no compensation for food. This was the worst airline experience I’ve ever had and I travel a lot, including frontier , westjet , spirit and other budget airlines . But this tops. The worst ever!!!

Once again the overbooked OVERSOLD the flight and did not allow me to get into the airplane Mr. Nava the manager the highest manager here in Aeromexico will not give me information on a supervisor. This is unacceptable by all means. The customer service is horrendous. Will NOT give me his manager information or even customer service number. They’ve had me waiting for about 20 minutes now and I’m still waiting to get information. Attendant said the manifest was full. AVOID THIS AIRLINE

World’s worst airlines. Somehow their system crossed up my boarding pass and came up with wrong flight. Had to buy another ticket. Somehow they lost my carryon that I brought onto the plane. Waited all day and into the night for the promised delivery. Still waiting. I think my carryon is having a better vacation than me. It’s certainly seeing more of Mexico

Holy Macaroni, this is your Captain speaking. buckle up, we are in for some turbulence of information regarding my what seems to be my, ONLY, trip I will ever take with Aeromexico. Let's give you the back story....booked a round trip flight to Acapulco(For a wedding) from San Antonio on Dec 14th for a flight on Feb 12th with a scheduled return of Feb 16th. Booked ahead of time to get premium seats (Premier seats on Aeromexico, basically first class, seat 2A). On the way back I'm in 5A. Boom! I'm ready to go. Fast forward to Feb 10th, and I'm feeling like I should spend another day in Mexico and would love to change my departure flight to leave the next day from Mexico City, as a couple of friends of mine decided why not! So, I called Aeromexico, explained what I wanted to do and off they went to look at some options for me. After explaining several times that my flight there should be untouched and only my return flight should be altered, we finally got a change initiated and completed(approximately500 USD later). The agent verified all information regarding the change, but never went over the initial flight to Acapulco, and neither did I after beating the information into the agent that this portion of the flight shouldn't change.... Well on the morning of Feb 12th, when I attempted to checkin online, the seat selection showed me on 8D, not 2A. So I gather my belongings and made my way to the airport. I arrive and valet my vehicle at 9:13am and at the counter by 9:20am (flight out at 12p). Speak with the Delta agent (top tier by the way) who proceeded to attempt to call over the walkie talkie an Aeromeixco agent. No response. Try again. No response. 15 minutes later someone magically appears. I explain the situation to the agent, and he heads off to the back. Another 20 minutes goes by and another agent comes to me with a piece of paper and asks me to write down my number and date I spoke with the Aeromexico agent, which I enthusiastically comply, and give him the time of the call (which the call took over an hour). Proceed to wait now for 40 more minutes and finally the agents come out and state that they figured everything out, and that the problem has been resolved all the way to Acapulco. Whew what a relief right...well that just seemed to be a lie to get me out of Austin, which was in 2A, but once I cleared security had only 20 minutes until departure. There goes breakfast. So I grab some almonds and patiently waited for departure. Made it to Mexico City, and I'm just now realizing that my ticket to Acapulco from Mexico City states see clerk. So I booked it to the gate where I am told that I am on stand by with a high probability of not making the flight. Huh?! What?! How?! I just dealt with this nonsense in Austin. Im hungry. Frustrated. And quite frankly losing my mind. Was told to wait to see if they can get my a seat, when I state that if I can't get on this flight, a Manager needs to tell me that directly. Needless to say, I got a seat, 5B, which is not what I paid for and literally boarding in 5 minutes. All in all, this was the worst experience flying I have ever had (On my 3rd passport). Let alone booking and paying for first class. Made out to be a liar. Then fighting to prove you actually did what you said you did. Proven that I told the truth after the team in Austin listened to the recording. Not to mention, I also sent a formal complaint to Aeromexico and got the most generic piece of crap response email. Y'all either dont care, or have employees that dont care. Probably both. It's such a shame, as I havr been working in Hospitality for two decades, and basically, this experience was worse than flying coach on Spirit Airlines.
