Just hanging out here is so much fun. I enjoy aviation so it’s like a kid in a candy store for me

Perfect location for smaller airplanes and larger airplanes taxiing to 26L, or taxiing to/from the South Terminal, and the initial take off roll: the Air France picture. Too bad the rotation isn't visible for larger aircraft further down the runway. I wasn't able to experience the landings as I was only there for one day. Not a good spot for 26R arrivals as I was hoping, even with a 600mm I wasn't able to get good shots (there was also a lot of haze that day). The British Airways picture. Food and washrooms are available inside the terminal building just behind the viewing platform. There are also boards on the platform showing information on the common aircraft and the history of the airport.

Honestly great airport, easy to get in and out the airports staff are friendly, BUT someone needs to tell the guys in the offices upstairs to stop going into the nursing room.... My wife was breastfeeding our baby and one walked in and had the nerve to give her a dirty look then 10 minutes later another office guy walked in... ITS A NURSING ROOM!

Best place to watch planes take off or landing if in south runway. Lots of Aviation spotter here if there’s a classic or special aircraft/livery comes. Wheelchair friendly.

Have lunch at the Flying Beaver and watch the seaplanes taking off and landing. It's a great place with great food. SeaAir to go salmon fishing up north this time
