I am a Wilmington local so I use this airport a lot and for many years. The team is always friendly and we love seeing the airport expand bigger and bigger. There is some construction so allow an extra 10 minutes to be dropped off and walk to the front terminal area. I wanted to share a personal story I had and the southern hospitality I was provided. I forgot my cell phone on Avelo Airlines and walked out to baggage claim before remembering I didnt grab it. In my panic, I ran to the help desk and told them my situation. Immediately Bob jumped up and helped me to look for my phone, he went to the terminal and unfortunately no one had found it when they searched the plane. Patti stayed there with us to give us updates and left notes for the Avelo team to reach out if they find it. I saw the airport sheriff's walk by and stopped them to ask what to do in this situation. They gave me advice and also went to check and see if it was in lost and found. Luckily 15 minutes later an avelo team member brought my phone up to the front and I got my cell back. Everyone was so helpful and caring about the situation instead of dismissive and avoiding. I truly appreciate the southern hospitality I received and cant wait to fly again soon.

Wilmington International Airport was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there were no lines at TSA or TSA PreCheck. The gates had plenty of comfortable seating, and the airport was easy to navigate with clear, well-marked signage. Overall, a smooth and pleasant travel experience!

Super tiny, but convenient airport. Almost never any line for TSA and the gates are all right next to each other. Only two baggage claims. Several bars and restaurants. Hard to believe it’s an international airport but I definitely appreciate the simplicity of it.

Nice little airport that is a breeze to go through security. I Uber so parking issues for me. They have a couple spots open early am so if you catch an early morning flight they have a couple options open to grab a bite to eat. The airport is clean and plenty of charging stations at the gate seats if you need some juice.
