Unite airlines is the worst I've been on. The gave our seats away before, boarding time ended. The doors were close and all seats filled before the boarding time finished. We saw this happen again while on standby for the next flight. Even with travel insurance we were not guaranteed a flight. Why bother with United when they care more for filling seats than they do following their own policy or customer service. I will never flight with them again. Save your money and time and use a reputable airline.

Where to begin... Leaving from Eugene, OR the plane landed but however was unable to board passengers due to technical difficulties. No big deal. That can happen. 2 hours later... no word on when to board. The front desk personnel were only able to assist certain connecting flights, for whatever reason. My husband tries reaching out to United airlines via telephone to see what our options were to get us where we needed to go.. first person who answers simply states, "go speak to the front desk." When my husband attempted to explain that they were unable to assist us due to their limited access, this person just hangs up!! So, frustrated, we try an alternate number, reach another person, placed on hold for 40 minutes. 40 minutes of music. Fantastic, right? Thinking we were possibly getting help or at least in the right direction...this person hangs up. No warning, no alert. Just disconnected. So, now nearly 3 hours, the flight is still pending and we're sitting there with our thumbs in our butts practically!! Call again. Request a manager. FINALLY, we get somewhere but we have to change our flight to the next day. Needless to say, it was an ordeal to even get to that point. Week passed, we're taking our flight home.. by the time our flight lands, we have to venture practically a half mile to the other side of the terminal to make it to our gate. We were under the impression that we had 45 minutes of a lay over. That's fine, can't be upset about the structure of an airport. ... the plane was already in the air by thw timr we made it to our gate. Now! We must waste another 5 hours in a damn airport because United airlines is the absolute worst experience that I hope will never have to happen again. Price may be convient but the service is just despicable.* I'm beyond disappointed and heartbroken..all we want to do is get home. And at least get home on time for once.

I've flown on United my whole life and I've never had an issue. They have however, come to my rescue twice when two other airlines went awol on me. United drove my luggage across the island of Puerto Rico from San Juan airport when it was another airline that didn't transfer my luggage to my United flight and left it sitting on the tarmac at LAX. An inter-island airline left me stuck on Kauai because they cancelled my flight to Maui where I was to catch a United flight to San Francisco. United booked me on a red eye to SFO and I got to spend another whole day in Hawaii for free.

I cant even give this airline a star. Systematically the worst airline company I have ever used. Terrible customer service, my luggage was at the airport in San Francisco and they could not get their act together to get it to me on the next flight in Mammoth for days!!!! Customer Service lied! Airport personnel in Mammoth LIED!!!! DONT EVER GIVE YOU R MONEY TO THIS COMPANY.

Cabin crew aren’t as hospitable as you’d expect in an international flight. Try a European or middle Eastern or Singapore airlines for better hospitality
