Very nice building. Quaint coffee shop on the main floor. Very clean and well kept. Lots of sitting areas.

If you're traveling with an elderly or disabled loved one, avoid United at all costs. I flew with my 79-year-old father—a Vietnam veteran with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s—who requires full physical and cognitive support. Despite requesting wheelchair assistance when booking (clearly noted on his ticket), United failed to provide it at every stage of our trip. At the gate, I was openly condescended to and accused of lying by a gate agent, who only believed me after she bothered to check the system—where she saw the assistance request I’d made weeks earlier. No apology. No accountability. Just indifference. My husband (who was in the middle of a gout flare) and I were forced to physically support my father to board the plane after being falsely assured assistance would meet us at the gate. Upon landing, no wheelchair was waiting. My father, who urgently needed the restroom, had to go without one. While waiting, a woman walked off with the unattended wheelchair brought over (and abandoned) by a staff member, putting her child in it, as multiple United employees stood silently watching. I had to yell at the woman myself to get it back—while United’s staff just looked on. In the end, I pushed my father myself through the airport while carrying all of our luggage. Not one United employee lifted a hand to help. This was my father’s final flight, as we were relocating him permanently due to declining health. United turned what should’ve been a manageable, respectful experience into something exhausting, humiliating, and dangerous for him and for us. United does not care about disabled passengers or their caregivers. Their staff are untrained, unprofessional, and apathetic. The only person who showed basic human decency was a single flight attendant who apologized and offered compensation. Once I use the miles I was given, I’ll never fly United again. And I strongly recommend you don’t either.

Find another airline.... My flight was scheduled to depart Chicago and arrive in Houston in a timely manner, allowing me to meet a critical appointment upon landing. Instead, the flight was delayed by over three hours—so severely, in fact, that we did not even take off from Chicago until after the time we were originally supposed to have landed in Houston. Throughout this inexplicable delay, passengers were provided with little to no meaningful information or updates, leaving us in a state of frustration and uncertainty. This level of disorganization is inexcusable for a major airline that should have robust systems in place to handle routine operations. The incompetence did not end there. Upon finally landing in Houston, we were subjected to an additional insult: waiting over an hour at baggage claim for our luggage. A United team member made repeated announcements acknowledging your understaffing issues, even suggesting that passengers could opt to have their bags mailed to them if they didn't want to endure the wait. Are you serious? You knew this flight was incoming, you knew its arrival time (delayed as it was), and you certainly knew how many bags were checked. Yet, you failed to allocate sufficient staff to handle a basic task like unloading baggage in a reasonable timeframe. This blatant admission of under preparedness only compounded the hours of delay, turning what should have been a straightforward travel experience into a nightmare.

I hated my experience with United Airlines from start to finish! I bought my tickets through United, but the first leg was operated by Swiss, which turned the check-in process into a nightmare of back-and-forth between the two airlines. And on the return flight, even though we were a family of five — two parents and three children — we ended up scattered all over the plane because now you have to pay extra just to get decent seats. The service was poor, the food was mediocre, and it’s clear I will never fly with this airline again, no matter how cheap the tickets are.

Absolute worst travel experience of my life. All 4 of my flightstike. on United were delayed today. Because of the delays in the morning I missed the meeting I was travelling for, then on the last flight home from Houston to San Antonio, they held us over an hour for luggage to arrive. Then as we were about to pulloutthe captain said they were opening the doorsto let on another traveller. Thank you United for an absolute miserable day sitting on your planes that can't seem to get anywhere on time.

I fly United frequently, 6 international trips a year and 5-10 domestic flights. It’s an uncomfortable experience every time. The seats are horrible, the meals are not good. Staff if friendly, but it’s just a poorly run airline, so they won’t hesitate to inconvenience passengers.
