They're taking advantage of the system! I paid for a ticket for my mom that included the small carry-on bag, and they charged her for it! Without asking, without even checking her boarding pass. Check-in was already done, and they didn't even weigh the large bag. The person who helped her in San Diego just saw it and said, "That's $90!" Just like that! I called customer service, which is listed on their website, and they said they couldn't do anything about it. So they'll just keep doing the same thing without any oversight, and whoever lets them get away with it will!

I cannot fault the employees themselves, as they are only following the unprofessional policies of this airline, but today I felt completely mistreated. At boarding, I was disrespected over something as minor as my jacket. I had already paid for a checked bag, yet was harassed about carrying my jacket onboard because I didn’t want it ruined in luggage. The way the situation was handled was unnecessary, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. Instead of treating passengers with basic courtesy, this airline seems more focused on enforcing rigid and unreasonable rules. This experience has left me with a very negative impression, and I would not recommend flying with them or pay 1st class and hope for better.
