The government is shut down with airports in disarray and United is still charging me $150 to cancel my flight. And of course it’s also only a credit and not a refund because United is adhering to the tiniest letter of the government mandate on this. They are determined to make a buck off a 70 year old who doesn’t want to get stuck in some airport halfway across the country. It costs nothing to hit a computer key to cancel something but they won’t miss the chance for another dollar. Plus, they hire ESL people whose accent is so heavy there’s only an occasional recognizable English word. They have to repeat and repeat, and then they get angry. It’s all about the money with this company. Probably safer not to fly in their planes. NEVER is the next time I’ll buy another ticket on United.

I recently flew back from Amsterdam to Newark NJ on United. I was credited 914 miles on my mileage account number. Delta, on the other hand, credited me with 3,646.00 for the exact same trip. United said it was based on the cost of my fare. I won’t be booking with United again. In addition, the head stewardess on flight UA 71 spouted out the safety instructions so quickly that it sounded like she was speaking a foreign language. Her name was Nina and she complained that she could give out the instructions in her sleep. The other steward and stewardess acted much more professional throughout the trip. In any event, this will be my last flight on United.

First time flying with United Airlines. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I requested UA to have wheelchair available for my travel partner for all locations. This was provided without any problems. I will certainly fly United Airlines again😊

I took my flight today from Newark to North Carolina with United Airlines. My experience was amazing! The flight attendants welcomed me warmly and were super nice and patient. This trip was fantastic! I will definitely choose United Airlines again. Highly recommended!!

United whose slogan should be “United, we strive for inefficiencies in everything we do!”… I had to edit my post because it is INCREDIBLE how much UNITED AIRLINES SUCKS!… they delayed the flight by more than 3 hours (for a light storm that lasted 15 minutes tops) yet somehow that didn’t give them enough time to rebook other passengers (still rebooking passengers up until we started boarding the plane). Then they start making people checking bags as soon as group 3 is done boarding (not a full flight so not large groups 1-3). I get on the plane and there is still overhead storage space for several more bags. Not to mentioned that the KNEW they would have to check bags so why not start that process any time in those 3 hours we were delayed and instead wait to do it while the boarding process is ongoing. Additionally, one guy (who talked slowly and was a jerk) was the only one scanning boarding passes. This one guy would also stop boarding the entire plane with every issues he encountered instead of asking his colleague to deal with those passengers while he continued to board the plane. Once we finally board which takes forever and the flight is not a full flight (55-60% full) the gate agent comes down and starts making sure certain people are seated in the right place (which they were)… no one was asking people to move or having issues finding their right seats… so why come check on it!?!?… it blew my mind how they all seemed to purposely be slow and take forever to do everything… I have flown multiple times with United and have NEVER had a good experience with them… I fly often and I get that Delta and American can have their good days and bad days but GEESH! United is NEVER GOOD!
